All of these free gadgets are a part of a company called Gratis Internet or CentricOffer that specializes in online pay-for-performance acquisitions. Other than IPODS, you can get FLAT SCREENS, HANDBAG, COMPUTERS , Portable Video Player, Tivo and more FOR FREE. They are even listed at the Better Business Bureau website. The point of the program is to sign up with one of their offers (at no cost to you) and then get some of your friends to do the same thing. After they have verified that you and your friends have indeed completed ONE offer EACH, they will send you a FREE IPOD, FLAT SCREEN, DESKTOP PC OR HANDBAG RIGHT TO YOUR DOOR.

But how can they do this, you ask?
Well, many people do not fully complete the offer - say they just do their offer and can only get 3 friends to complete their offer - and thus, the company makes a profit from those sign ups and they do not need to send an iPod for the unfinished process. It is only when people COMPLETELY go through with the process that they will need to send an iPod, but nevertheless, they make a profit.

When it comes to Internet Scams, I consider myself among the wariest of individuals. Nigerian Money Transfer? Total Crap. Emails from Microsoft about generous money given to individuals for simply forwarding chain messages to others? B.S.

Yet there is something different about these offers from Gratis Internet for free iPods, flat screens, and desktop PCs. Everything about it has been verified to be completely legit. Not only is it certified by the Better Business Bureau, talked about on CNN Headline News and written about at Wired, the ultimate geek news magazine.

The best thing is that while you have to sign up for some offers, most of them offer a free month trial that you can cancel at no cost to you before the trial ends. If you are curious, I chose the AOL offer, although the blockbuster choice is pretty good also.I cancelled once my status was verified and completed.

Anyways, the way it operates is that you sign up for one offer, then have some friends register and sign up for one offer and then they ship you the gadget of your choice free with no hassle or hidden shipping and handling fees.

Anyways, if this entry has piqued your interest, I would appreciate it if you would use me as a referral through these links. You can sign up for all three offers, one account per household.

If you are a vacillating (like I was), check out the Wired article and the free iPod guide I linked to above. Remember, the beauty of this is that you can cancel the subscription to your offer before it ends. There is no cost to you but all to gain! An ipod costs $300 yet with a little work you can get it for free...
