World Cup 2006!!!

I really should update this site more often than I currently do... ANYWAYS...
In honour of this year's FIFA World Cup of Soccer, we will be holding a Winning Eleven 8 & 9 Tournament of Champions. This will not be your run of the mill tournament though, as we will be jazzing up the rules just to further infuriate our favourite gamers (who are Winning Eleven veterans). Let it be known that the tournament will be held July 1st, but it will be done in time for people to go out and party that night (tis Canada Day after all). Entry fee will be 5 bucks, as I'm hoping to have a few prizes for the top 3 players on the afternoon. The details of the tournament, and how many teams you will have to pick (yes, you'll be forced to use more than one) will be ironed out by the weekend. Look to the 'tournament' page for further updates and pre-registration info.
UPDATE The Tournament has been moved to July 8th, due to the long weekend here in Ka-na-da.

What we're all about

The layout of the arcade is such. We have 4 Playstation 2's hooked up to crisp 27 inch flat screen televisions. There is also a retro booth that will feature various throwback systems each week, so get in the mood for some classic Genesis and SNES action. While we will be holding tournaments for prizes each week, you can also drop in to play a wide variety of single player games using your own memory card if you wish (please label them if you do). On the "Tournament" and "Games" pages you will find a list of all the games we offer and what the rules of tournament play are. If there are any questions, comments, or suggestions, don't be afraid to e-mail us.

Remix, Revamp, Rewind

After much deliberation, and many gaming parties to test out the theories... we've re-evaluated, and revamped how exactly we're going to operate. You can forget about the "Toonie" and " Loonie" ridiculousness for a couple hours of play. We will be using a flat rate of 5 bucks, and everything will revolve around that figure. For the bigger prizes, I may have to charge more, but we'll cross that bridge when I get there.
