is a site directed towards issues related to black children.
The National Black Child
Development institute works to improve child care across the country and
has network of volunteers.
There is not much directly related to children on the
site. A very
large and extensive web site with information on child development,
psychology, parenting, learning, and health and safety. There is a lot of info on
childhood disorders such as attention deficit disorder, dyslexia and
autism. The site has is
oriented towards children of all ages. Foundation
for Child Development. The
organization has a grant program to study issues related mostly to pre-
education, apparently. There
is an article that compares 7 pre-k programs. 6.

is a University of Washington sponsored blog site. It is oriented towards how
technology affect child development. The focus seems to be on video games

Child Development/Adolescent Development Project. This is a longitudinal
research program that has been going on for years. It followed children from
kindergarten through high school. This site has links to the work that has
been published as a result of this study. 17.

holocaust and also information on non-verbal communication using

site is related to a longitudinal study done in England about a group of
children born in a particular
week in March,
1958. The study is called the
National Child Development Study.
