APEX Technology Consultants is a Scam
APEX Technology Consultants (Also known as
APEX Technology Solutions) should not be confused with APEX that
makes TVs, DVD players, and other electronics. APEX Technology
Consultants is a distributor of equipment that allows internet access over the television.
APEX Technology
Consultants preys on the individuals that are jobless due to the
economy.
APEX Technology Consultants advertise their job
openings in the newspaper saying that they will
pay you $20 per appointment.
$20 per appointment easily
grabs the attention of the employed and the unemployed in this
challenging job market today. They ask you to come to a
group interview where they continue to tell you how this isn't
another scam. They ask you if you want to make a lot of money
and then they ask you to pay them over $300 for equipment and
training. They justify the cost saying that you will get back
the money plus a bonus at the end of the contract. YOU
DON'T GET PAID TILL YOU DO ALL 80 PRESENTATIONS (And YOU'RE the one who
provides ALL 80 people). They also tell
you that at least 50% of your presentations will be sales and
you will earn a lot of money with the commission. In reality,
most people get about 3 sales. The people who will buy it in a
few weeks don't count as sales because they want their money
today.
The SCAM is that
they make the additional job requirements inconvenient for you
and then they try to make sure that you do not complete the
contract so that they don't have to pay you. Hence, YOU'LL BE
WORKING FOR THEM FOR FREE. Even worse, you paid them to have
you work hard for them. They then try to use reverse psychology
to make YOU feel like it's YOUR fault that they didn't pay you.
The SCAM also makes it look like you get paid extra for
sales when technically you don't since you have to go back to
the buyer's house and setup the equipment, train them, and also
be available to answer all of their questions. You don't get paid for
these extra job activities.

APEX Technology Consultants say that they will pay you at the end of the contract; however, they make sure that you never complete
it. They try very hard to find or create a reason for you not to finish and not
get paid.
