I am an MBA graduate with an electrical engineering background seeking a Marketing Engineer, Field Applications Engineer, or sales position in the Dallas, Texas area. I feel my sales operations experience, engineering experience, and sales and marketing training well prepare me for these positions.
I've analyzed sales policies and opportunities with Texas Instruments's key analog and DSP customers to formulate new compensation and bonus initiatives. I also have experience designing PCB mounted power circuits utilizing DC/DC converters, buck converters, and linear regulators for Nortel Networks. Finally, I've designed a PowerQUICC processor core utilizing Motorola's MPC850 Processor, Flash, and SDRAM.
My technical skills are complemented by my ability to communicate effectively and work efficiently with others. When working at Nortel Networks, I communicated extensively with manufacturing, product integrity, procurement, and software development departments to deliver a product of the utmost quality to Nortel’s customers. At Texas Instruments, I presented the results of my Design WIN Database audit with Analog Marketing Managers and Americas Sales management.
If
my
background and career goals match your job requirements well, I am confident
that my sales and marketing knowledge, hardware design experience, communication skills, and
motivation will enable me to perform the job effectively. I would be very
interested in meeting with you to discuss how I can contribute to your
company’s success.
Thank
you for your consideration. I look forward to meeting with you soon.
Sincerely,
Andy
