The K2JVL/SYR repeater featuring open auto patch service for Central New York. The telephone exchanges serves primarily in Onondaga county. However there are some exchanges that are toll free in adjacent Madison and Oswego counties.
It is the intentions of the trustee's and owners to provide a reliable repeater for the amateur community during general communications needs and time of emergencies or Public Service Events.
The 147.105 K2JVL/SYR repeater is tri-owned by Joe K2JVL, Dick WA2MRU, and Tony W2AJT. Once a year you will find that the call on the repeater will change. The general rule is each trustee has a turn in the barrel as trustee and control operator. If this is confusing we apologize in advance.
