First, you should familiarize yourself with the toolbar in Rhino. The picture on your left will tell you the basic controls that we will be using. The ones we won't be using, or aren't basic, are shaded in.
Go ahead and look at it.
Now that you know the names of the basic buttons, it is time to
open Rhino 3D. Your screen should look something like the screen
on the right. If it doesn't, go to File > New > Millimeters
Now that Rhino is open, click on the "Front" view and then on the
"Control Points Curve" button. Use it to make a shape similar to
the one in the picture on the left.
