Presently I
am working at Philips
Semiconductors, The Netherlands, as an IC Design
Engineer. I joined the DSP design team of the Embedded
Processors Group in March'2000. This group is located at NATLab (Philips Research Lab)
in Eindhoven.
I am working
on the hardware design of Philips 24 bit REAL
(Re-configurable
Embedded Architecture for Low-Power) DSP processor core.
I have also
been involved with the C-model development for Philip's
16-bit REAL DSP processor.

Academics |

Masters
I
then joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian
Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, India, and
completed my Masters in Microelectronics Engineering in
the year 2000. As part of my M.Tech project, I worked on the
"Design of an on-chip interface for the I2C bus" and
"Low Power Design Issues in VLSI systems". During my
stay at IIT, I held a fellowship from Cypress
Semiconductors, India.

Bachelors
From
1994-1998, I did my graduation in Electronics Engineering
from Visvesvaraya
Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur, India. During
this period, I was a consistent recipient of the annual "Visvesvaraya
Merit Award".

High
School
I
completed my basic education at my hometown Nagpur. I had stood 21st
in-order-of-merit in standard X examination in Nagpur Division
in the year 1992. In XII standard examination (University
entrance exam) of 1994, I was ranked 10th in-order-of-merit in
the Nagpur Division.
