Unfortunately there has been a bug with the first release of UE. Download the fiction viewer patch here: http://www.nolimitclan.com/ue/viewer_reg.exe

You have to install UE into the same folder as Secret Ops. No files of Secret Ops will get overwritten.

The game crashes when I scan a freighter in Mission 1 (Prelude). UP
Install the Secret Ops speechpack.

Software mode has difficulty handling the stress which UE exerts on the game engine. At the same time, if your computer is incapable of supporting the Direct 3D mode, then it may be too slow for UE anyway.

I'm in Windows 2000 and I get the error 'wcue caused an error in wcue.exe'. UP
Unfortunately, Secret Ops does not work with Windows 2000, and therefore, neither does Unknown Enemy.
With some work Windows 2000 can be tricked to offer a compatibility mode like Windows XP does. While it seems not to be as stable as with XP you might want to give this a try. Check http://www.petri.co.il/application_compatibility_tool.htm for details on how to activate compatibility mode in Windows 2000.

I'm in Windows XP and I get the error 'wcue caused an error in wcue.exe'. UP
Right click on wcue.exe, select the compatibility tab, and set it to Windows95 or Windows98/XP. Then click ok and try again.
