Figure 6.6. In this figure the corner frequencies of the bass and treble have been moved lower for the bass and higher for the treble. The values are roughly the same as for a standard tone control but they are shifted lower and higher for bass and treble respectively. On the bass end the five curves start at 10 Hz and come together to a single line at 300 Hz. For the treble end starting at 100 kHz and moving down in frequency the five curves come together at 3 kHz. If this sounds planned, it was. The ideal would be for the curves to remain combined as a single line between 300 Hz and 3 kHz, but they don't. The separate slightly to a span of a little more than 1 dB.
