Baxandall tone control frequency response. This is a graph with dB plotted vertically on a linear scale from minus 40 at the bottom to zero at the top. Frequency is plotted horizontally in cycles on a logarithmic scale from 10 to 100 kc. There are 5 curves plotted on the graph. They make a pattern like an hourglass turned on its side. The top most curves starts out at 10 cycles and minus 4 dB. After that its values are, 20 cycles, minus 5 db, 50, minus 8, 100, minus 12, 200, minus 17, 500, minus 20, 1 kc, minus 18, 2 kc, minus 13, 5 kc, minus 7, 10 kc, minus 3, and 20 kc, minus 2. It continues on this value out to 100 kc. The second curve down goes as follows. 10, minus 12.5, 20, minus 13, 50, minus 15, 100, minus 18, 200, minus 20, 500, minus 20, 1 kc, minus 18, 2kc, minus 16, 5 kc, minus 15.5, 10 kc, minus 15.5, and 20 kc, minus 15.5. This curve starts to fall past 20 kc and is down to minus 19 at 100 kc. The third curve is a straight horizontal line on the minus 20 dB line. Its value is minus 20 for all values of frequency from 10 c to 20 kc. It falls to minus 22.5 at 100 kc. The fourth curve goes as follows. 10, minus 25, 20, minus 25, 50, minus 24, 100, minus 22, 200, minus 21.5, 500, minus 20, 1 kc, minus 21, 2 kc, minus 23, 5 kc, minus 26, 10 kc, minus 27, and 20 kc, minus 27.5. The line continues almost flat falling to minus 28 at 100 kc. The fifth and last curve goes as follows. 10, minus 29, 20, minus 29, 50, minus 28, 100, minus 27, 200, minus 24, 500, minus 20, 1 kc, minus 21, 2 kc, minus 23, 5 kc, minus 29, 10 kc, minus 35, and 20 kc, off the edge of the graph. Such detailed descriptions will not be repeated in the future. The values at 50 cycles and 10 kc will be stated. Point by point data will only be given if the curves are significantly different from these. End verbal description.
