Mod Chips/Mod-Replay(converter)
Mod-Chips prevent people from playing import games or backups, the Console checks, if the inserted CD matches the console code during bootup.
If not, it stops loading.
The MOD-CHIP injects the right country code during the boot sequence and you are then able to play IMPORT GAMES and CD-R BACKUPS (copies).
With the MODREPLAY you will NOT void your warranty. With the MODREPLAY there is no
soldering involved, and you'll be playing imports or backups less than 5 seconds! The ONLY
drawback to the MODREPLAY is that you have to swap CD one time.But this takes only 1
second. Besides this one small disadvantage there are many more advantages that the
MODREPLAY has over the mod-chip like: keeps warranty safe, plugs and unplugs in
seconds, uses cheat codes, has a vram viewer, folder and file viewer, internal memory card
manager, skips the white and black Sony screens and more.
