November 17, 2001 - All Your
Base Are Belong To Jill. Brecon Hall. Bryn Mawr College
w/ special guest DJ appearances
by Beth from Meridien and Jay
Totally one of those "play whatever the hell
you feel like" deals since this was my friend Jill's 19th birthday party
and was a totallyinformal gig. I meant to keep track of what I was playing,
however, I ended up being totally too busy running around to keep any kind
of formal playlist. For most of the party, I spun Hard Trance and UK Hard
House on vinyl, mostly from the following labels: Honey Pot, Tracid Traxxx,
Tidy Trax, Nucleuz, Mohawk, Tripoli Trax, Time Unlimited, and Trust In Trance.
When I got bored or wanted to be social and have a few drinks, we'd usually
just throw on a cd. I was feeling rather social so this resulted in about
an hour of Scooter's DJ Dara cd. Later on, I spun an EBM/Industrial/Synthpop
set that included tracks by Syntec, Evils Toy, Eco, Iris, Covenant, and some
other stuff I can't remember. This was followed by an Indie/Punk/Hair Metal
set with help from Beth that included AFI, At The Drive-In, Poison, and some
other stuff. At the end of the night, Jay took over the decks and spun industrial
until the end of the party. Good times, good
times.
