Working With a Web


Creating a Web

  • Go to the File menu, point to New, and click Web.

  • Click the icon for the template or wizard you want.

  • In the Specify The Location Of The New Web text box, type the name of your new Web and click on Ok.

  • The wizard dialogue boxes appear, and you can make selections as desired.

  • When you are done with the selections click on Finish button.

 


Preview a Web Page

  • Display the page in Page view.
  • Click on the Preview tab on the bottom of the window.

    Preview in the Browser

    • Click the Preview In Browser button in the toolbar.  This allows you to view your web site as it would appear in a browser.

 


Organizing Your Web

  • Display the web in Navigation view.  This will show you a flowchart of how your web pages are connected.
  • Drag folders from the Folder List to the tree diagram and place them in the appropriate positions.
