Inserting Components


Inserting a Banner

  • Before being able to insert a banner, your page has to be on the navigation view.  After you save the page, click on the Navigation button on the far left side of the screen.

  • Click on the name of the page in the Folder List, hold the mouse button, and drag the folder in the navigation view in the desired location.

  • Go back to your page and place the curser in the desired location of the banner.

  • Click on Insert, and then click on the arrow at the bottom of the menu. 

  • More options will come up including the Page Banner option.  Click on this to insert the banner.

  • A dialogue box will appear with the option of a picture or text banner.  The picture option will provide the banner that goes with your theme.

  • Type in what you want your banner to say in the Page Banner Text Box.

 


Inserting Headings

  • When you choose a theme on FrontPage then the theme automatically provides you with headings that go with the theme.

  • Position the curser on the location that you want the heading.

  • To utilize these headings click on the arrow on the Style box in the upper left hand corner of the screen.  It will provide you with about six headings to choose from.

  • Click on one of these, and proceed to typing the heading.

 


 

Inserting Pictures

  • Position your curser where you want the picture to be.

  • Click on the Insert menu.

  • Go to the Picture option and click on it.

  • Now you have the option of inserting from your file or from the clip art gallery.  Choose which one you want to use.

  • After you have chosen your picture then click on insert.
