My name is Barret Wallace. I am leader of the rebel group called “AVALANCHE”. My goal is to destroy shinra for what they are doing to the planet. They are sucking up al the planets energy just so they can fill their pockets with gold. @#$$^% SHINRA! I hate them! I have to protect the planet!

No, that’s not the reason why I am trying to bring down shinra. I have to bring them down for what they have done to me. It append all long time ago, back when I still had my right hand. The shinra wanted to buy the towns land because they wanted a place to build another reactor. Corel village was very poor and the shinra had offered so much money. We had no choice but to take the offer.

That was the biggest mistake anyone could have ever made. We should have never trusted the shinra. The reactor blew up because of the low maintenance shinra had put into it, it was like they knew it was going to happen. At the time, me and my friend Dyne were out signing over the land to shinra. When I headed back home someone of the village had told me the shinra had burned Corel village.

Everything I had, burned. Then a few moments later, the shinra had come back with MP’s and shot my right arm. It nearly missed my artery so I survived but the injury was so sever, my hand had to be amputated. I wanted to get back at them so I chose a gun arm for my hand. This way I can get them back for what they did!

I am now living in Midgar, the city turned bad by the @^%&# SHINRA!!! I have made a small rebel group called “AVALANCHE” which consist of Tifa, Cloud, Jessie, Biggs, Wedge and of course, me, Barret. Ever since that Cloud joined he pissed me off. He now has brought me to some wild adventure to look for a man named Sephiroth.
