Clean sheets

"Shit. How the fuck--?" Justin threw the half-folded, half-scrunched up sheet on the floor in frustration. It fluttered gracefully to the ground and lay there in a crumpled heap. JC looked at it, then at Justin, raising one eyebrow.

"Problem?"

"It's just. How are you supposed to fold those stupid things, anyway?" Justin flopped back onto the bed, sighing in exasperation. "They're all awkward and when you grab hold of one corner, you somehow lose your grip on the other, and then you have to start again. And those fitted things with the elastic in them? Oh god. What a nightmare. I usually just screw them into a ball and throw them in the closet."

JC grinned at him. "Really. The agony of Justin Timberlake, pop sensation. Unable to fold his fitted sheets. It's bringing a tear to my eye. I think...I might...just...cry." And he fake-sobbed, rubbing his hands over his face to smother the giggles that escaped inbetween.

Justin lobbed a pillow at his head. "Bite me."

"Maybe later. Now, come on. Let me show you how it's done." And JC picked up the abandoned sheet, shook it out and handed one edge to Justin. "Get off the bed and hold this."

Justin did as he was told, and stood there, holding the edges of the sheet as JC stood across from him and did the same. "The secret," JC said, as he brought the two corners of the sheet together, "is to ask someone to help you do it." Justin followed JC's hands, folding the corners he held together as well. "And then," JC continued, walking towards Justin, "you meet in the middle, like this." He leaned in, and covered Justin's mouth with his, nipping at his lower lip gently. Then he took Justin's half of the sheet from him, flipped it over and folded it neatly in one graceful movement. "Just like that."

"Right." Justin looked thoughtful, as he took the freshly folded sheet from JC, and promptly unfolded it. "Show me again? And this time, let's skip right ahead to the meeting in the middle part."
