One man stood on the balcony, watching the waves lap against
the shore, the stars twinkling above him. He thought about the past year of his life, how difficult it
had been…but now, everything was perfect.
“Come to bed, baby,” called another man. The man on the balcony smiled, stepped back from the railing,
and went into his room. The other
man lay naked in the bed, only a sheet covering his body.
“God you’re beautiful,” said the man.
The man in the bed blushed, patting the place next to him, urging the other man
to join him. When the other man began to crawl beneath the sheets, his
lover shook his head.
“Too many clothes,” he grinned.
There was no argument from the other man. He stripped off his clothes as quickly as he could, standing
nude before his lover.
“Now you can come to bed.”
Lips met lips, moans were shared, hard cocks rubbed together.
“I love you,” said the man who had been on the balcony. “I’ve
always loved you.”
“I know.”
Thousands of miles away, another man was returning home from a three day
business trip. He fumbled with his
keys, desperate to get into the house and wrap his arms around his lover.
Finally the door clicked open, and he threw his bags on the floor, shouting for
his lover.
No reply came, and the man frowned. Must be sleeping. He
rushed up the steps, taking them two at a time, almost tripping on his own feet.
He threw the bedroom door open with
a grin on his face…but his grin faded when he found the bed empty.
It wasn’t just the bed that was empty, he found out minutes later. The
closet was empty…all his lover’s clothes were gone…everything that his
lover owned was gone.
Hot tears slid down the man’s cheeks when he found the letter on the bed.
Lance…
I’m sorry…
JC
He crumbled into a heap on the floor, thinking that he would probably never stop
sobbing.
“I can’t believe we’re here.”
JC nuzzled his nose into Justin’s neck, sighing contentedly. “We
waited forever, baby. We planned it
perfectly…it all worked out just how we wanted it to.”
Justin smiled, planting a soft kiss on JC’s head. “We really had them fooled, didn’t we.”
JC laughed, hugging Justin closer. “We
sure did. Every detail worked out
perfectly…not to mention it was exciting as hell to have you order me around
like that…pretending that you were forcing me to fuck you.”
“You love when I talk dirty to you, baby,” Justin grinned, his hand dancing
over JC’s tight abs.
“You know I do.”
“I’m still mad at you for making me hit you with the car.”
“It had to be done, Justin. It
worked out perfectly. We planned
that kiss just at the right moment, so Lance could see everything.”
Justin smiled, remembering the look on Lance’s face that day. “Good
point.”
“I missed you so much, Justin…this past year without you…God, every night
I wished you were there.” Justin didn’t reply. JC
noticed the pout on his lips and frowned. “What’s wrong, baby?”
“It’s just…I hate knowing that you were fucking Lance when I was gone…I
hate knowing that someone else got to be so close to you when I had to be so far
away.”
“Justin?” JC said, propping
himself up on one elbow to look into Justin’s eyes. “Lance
and I didn’t have sex. Not once.”
“You…you didn’t? But…didn’t
he think that was weird? I mean, you were supposed to be in love with him…”
JC shook his head. “I told him that I was too traumatized by what had
happened…that I wanted to wait until I knew everything was perfect, until I
knew that you couldn’t hurt me anymore.”
Justin grinned. “That’s my baby.” Justin
kissed JC tenderly, licking his tongue over JC’s lower lip. “Love
you,” he mumbled against JC’s mouth.
JC smiled. “I love you too. And now we have forever to show each other just
how much.”
“The French Riviera…who would have thought we would have ended up here?”
“We’re starting over, Justin. No more *NSYNC, no more Lance…just you, and
me, and forever. That’s what we’ve always wanted, what the whole thing was
about. Right?”
“Right.”
JC nuzzled himself back into the crook of Justin’s neck, breathing softly
against the tender skin.
“Do you feel guilty about what we did?” Justin asked, stroking JC’s hair.
“No. I don’t. I know I should, I know Lance is going to be devastated…but
this—“ he squeezed Justin tightly. “This is what makes me happy, what I
live for. And that’s all that matters.”
Justin smiled happily. All their
hard work had paid off. It had taken forever, but now they were finally where
they belonged—in each other’s arms.
“Josh?”
“Hmm?”
“I’m really glad you had a crush on me.”
