Justin nearly choked on the air, and his towel dropped to the
floor. Had JC said what he thought
he'd said?
He stepped out from behind the closet door, not realizing he had left his towel
behind.
JC's eyes widened. J looks
pretty good naked, he thought, laughing to himself. He casually leaned back on the couch, spreading his legs
apart. "You asked me what I wanted to do today. I
told you."
Justin leapt back behind the door, his heart beating a mile a minute. He
heard JC laughing hysterically and peekd his head out.
"You should have seen the look on your face, J!" JC
laughed.
"Fuck you, Josh, " Justin growled, making a face.
"Hey, man, I'm not the one that came out here naked!"
Justin hadn't realized until now that he'd dropped his towel, and his face
turned a bright shade of crimson. He
sighed as he slipped into his boxers and walked back in to the room.
"Jace, I'm sorry I'm acting like a dick."
"Hey, man, we all have our days. Don't worry about it."
Justin sat down on the floor, leaning up against the couch.
"You wanna talk about it?" Justin looked up at JC with shy eyes,
something JC rarely saw. He was
almost shocked at how innocent Justin looked just then.
"I dunno...it's just..." He put his head down and wrung his hands
together nervously.
"You know you can tell me anything, J. I've know you forever, " JC
said, sitting down on the floor next to him.
"Yeah, I know."
"So what's up?"
He looked up at JC, straight into his blue eyes. "It's nothing really..I
just had this dream..." He
blushed furiously, turning away again.
JC laughed, shoving Justin playfully. "Oooh...was
it a dream about SEX, Justy?"
Justin tried not to smile, but JC saw the corners of his mouth turn up in that
classic deviilish grin.
"Josh, come on...don't make this any more difficult!"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," JC replied, trying to keep a straight face.
"Ok, so you had this dream..."
"Yeah," Justin said, still looking down. "I had this dream about someone I shouldn't be having it
about...and I woke up...and I realized that I shouldn't be dreaming about this
person...and I got pissed off, and irritated...and confused."
JC cocked his head and looked at Justin. "Confused? Why confused? It was
just a dream, J."
"I know...but...I think I might have liked it...and I SHOULD NOT like
it."
"Why not? Is the person you dreamed about really that bad?" JC giggled.
"Was it your mom or something?
Gross, Justin!"
"Josh! I'm serious here!" Justin whined. "Forget it. Just forget
I said anything." He stood up
and walked across the room, avoiding JC's eyes.
"J, man, I'm sorry, I was just kidding! It's really bothering you that much?"
"Yeah...yeah, Josh, it is."
JC studied his friend closely, wondering just who it was that this dream could
have been about. Justin's brow was
wrinkled, his eyes were angry. He
looked distraught.
"Wanna tell me who it was about?"
"NO!" Justin yelled, whipping around to face JC. "No,
I'm not telling you."
JC hadn't expected a reaction like that. Justin saw the shocked expression on
his face and his eyes softened.
"Fuck..." he said quietly. "I'm sorry, Josh." He sighed,
running a shaky hand through his curls. "Can we just change the
subject?"
JC didn't want to change the subject. He wanted to know why this was bothering
Justin so much. "Yeah, J, that's fine. Now would you get dressed so we can
go out? You're so slow sometimes!"
He flashed Justin a smile, and Justin laughed. It was just a dream, anyway.
