"Who is it Justin!" he fumed. Justin was caught off guard with the question completely surprised. "W-what do you mean. Yours! Alex…" "Don't even go there Justin! There's no way it's mine. We always use condoms you know that! I'm not stupid!" he yelled. Justin shook his head as tears trailed down his paled cheeks. "N-no Alex…we haven't always used condoms and you know it…or maybe you don't…when you're drunk I don't think you even recognize that I'm the one you're inside of…I know you've slipped a few times before… Who's Adam?" Justin said stiffly. Alex stopped his angry pacing looking straight into Justin's blue eyes He laughed. "Is that all you can do, laugh. I think some kind of explanation, and an apology of some kind is warranted don't you?" Justin pressed. It was time to air out all the little secrets between the two. Now was his chance to get all of it off his shoulders. "I've been seeing him for a while now…I was wondering when you'd get a clue" Alex sneered. Justin shook his head sadly. He knew. But somewhere inside he'd hoped that it was a passing fling. That Alex would realize how special their relationship was. They had been together so long and Justin couldn't imagine Alex would let it slip away so suddenly. He sat thinking to himself over that last thought. No. He did imagine it. Why else had he spent the last few days planning? Readying himself for what he knew was to come. "Weather you like it or not I'm having the baby Alex. I can't kill my own child." Justin responded finally. "Shit! I know you don't expect me to pay you child support. The kid probably isn't even mine! The fuck I will. I'm not having anything to do with this Justin!" Justin swallowed wiping the tears away. "I expected this. I hoped somehow we could work this out. I don't know why you're insisting that the baby isn't yours. I haven't cheated on YOU; it was the other way around wasn't it? I've already packed my things. I'll be leaving in the morning. I don't expect anything from you Alex. I'll be leaving at in about a week, if you want to stop me you have until then, if not, well I'll be leaving, don't expect to have anything to do with this child." Justin spoke with a resigned strength. He got up from the couch and walked slowly to the bedroom gathering his clothes for the night and moving to the spare bedroom. About ten minutes later he heard the front door slam and moments after that Alex's car was pulling out of the driveway undoubtedly headed to a bar, or even his new guy Adam's place. Justin changed into his pajamas after another shower. It seemed he couldn't stay out of the shower, it was relaxing, and comforting with all the things going on lately. Settling in with a `So. You're Gonna Have a Baby' book he read for a while until his eyes started to slowly close. Turning off the bedside lamp, he noted that Alex still had yet to come back, it was 1:30 in the morning. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 9 AM Justin woke up stomach growling. He had a serious craving for grits, eggs, bacon, and sausage. He knew why deep down. He missed that home cooking he always got from his mom when he was feeling down. So he did the next best thing. Dressing in a pair of baggy dark blue jeans, a comfortable brick red t-shirt and his favorite pair of KSWISS blue and red shoes he tied a bandanna around his head tossing his bag, and laptop into the passenger seat of his car. He drove the short distance to the dinner and got out. Smiling at the `usual' customers he sat in a booth towards the back. He ordered his food along with a side of orange slices and pineapple orange Juice. Connecting to the Internet he signed into his email and responded to the email he'd received from Dr. Bass. Dr. Bass, Sincerely, Justin went from his email to a site the doctor's secretary had sent him for the local hospital's group `sessions' for new parents. He read some of the information and decided to hold off on signing up for meetings or not until he was settled in. ~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~ After a long day at the store where he'd given his notice and put in for a transfer he headed back home relief flooding him when he saw that Alex had gotten home yet. He set about with the few boxes he'd picked up and began packing his things from the bathroom, the few things of his from the kitchen, taking out his small suitcase he packed some clothes, and side items in it setting out clothes for the next few days before starting the process of folding and packing the rest of his clothing and shoes into boxes and his bigger suitcase. The next few days rolled by. Justin had a brief check up with the doctor discussing sending his records to Dr. Bass, and saying his goodbyes to the few friends he had from classes. Double-checking with the admissions office that the classes he'd scheduled for the next term were straightened out, and returning books now that his finals were over. He got his car serviced and confirmed his move in date for his new apartment. Talked to his new supervisor at the shoe store he'd transferred to. Everything was packed into his car and ready to go. He had a lunch cooler filled with water that was partially frozen to stay cold, grapes, and a few PB&J sandwiches he'd made to save on buying food along the way. Baked potato chips a thermos of his favorite new orange pineapple fruit juice sitting on the floor of the passenger seat. His laptop and cell phone hooked into the adapter of the dashboard to stay charged. He'd packed the last of his things, his small television from the office, radio, CD collection, and blanket from the spare room, and the sheets he'd bought for the spare room. The morning came for him to leave, he stalled a bit wondering if Alex would actually show up to try and stop him. It was a pathetic thought; Alex hadn't even been back to the house except to get clothes in the last week. Justin sat the letter he'd written him on the kitchen counter, locked the door and slipped his house key into the neighbor's mailbox before pulling out of the driveway. Stopping at the diner for breakfast, and to say goodbye to a few staff there and Marie. Marie smiling sadly that he was leaving but secretly happy he was leaving behind his boyfriend, having had her fair share of talks with Justin to know that the relationship had been torture the last few months for him. She gave him breakfast on the house and made him a plate he could reheat at his first stop to eat with his favorite sub sandwich made fried chicken strips, lettuce, cheese, and pickles. He put the sandwich, which was wrapped tightly and inside a plastic container beside the container with his sandwiches in the cooler covering it with ice more ice. Finally it was 11am and he was on the highway. Listening to an old CD of his by The Corrs he let the windows down for the fresh air to blow through as he drove down the highway.

Looking through that and just the impression I get of you and your staff I'd like to schedule an appointment with you once I move down there. I'm in the process of moving now so I'll be calling you within the next week to schedule something more definitive. Thanks again.
