Welcome to the official site of the Black Coven of Satanas. We
are a small local Coven teaching and practicing Satanism in lower
Alabama. Founded on October 31st, 2005 V.E., our Coven practices
a form of Satanism usually called "Traditional," "Theistic," or
"Orthodox" Satanism. The type of Satanism that believes
Satan-Lucifer is more than a symbol. It is the religion commonly
referred to as Devil Worship.
However, the Coven prefers to simply call it's belief system "Satanism." In fact, the term "Luciferian" could equally apply, or "Diabolist", or any of the above terms in one way or another. It all depends on who you're talking to, as usages of these terms differ, sometimes greatly, from group to group and person to person. So, to avoid confusion, we like to just say Devil Worship, or Satanism. Each member of the Coven decides exactly what label, if any, the put on their Satanism.
Our particular beliefs draw from many sources, including the Yezidis, the early Church of Satan, European Witchcraft, Crowley's Thelemic "Cult of Shaitan," Herb Sloane's Ophite Cultus Sathanas,
our background in the Traditional Satanism family of Organizations such as H.O.M.E., and others. We are highly religious in practice, running along the basic lines of a quaint congregational church, and deeply Thelemic in philosophy. However, most Thelemites generally disagree with many of our views on Crowley and Thelema.
Our Coven teaches that Satan is the true GOD, the Macrocosm to our Microcosm, he is Pan, he is All, he is One. He is beyond consciousness, yet he can take form in consciousness. He is Nothing, yet he is everything. He is Leviathan, he is Chaos. He is Baphomet, Mystery of Mysteries. He is Darkness and Light, Male and Female. All ancient deities, later called Demons, emanated from this source, which the ancients called Pan, the All, and we call Satan-Lucifer, Baphomet.
We believe that the god of the Judeo-Christian faiths is also real, just like all other gods. However, like the Gnostics, we believe that Jehovah or Allah, as he is usually known, is a comparitevly weak god, a filthy parasitic spirit who succeeded in making the word tremble before his monstrous lies. It is we ourselves who allowed him to stay on his false throne. He is not essential to the welfare of the cosmos, and therefore our beliefs are technically not dualism. Polytheism or even Pantheism would be more fitting to our theological views.
We take no form of online or long distance membership whatsoever. This site is here to provide solitary practitioners with informative and insightful information on Satanism, as well as to let those who may be interested in and meet the requirements for membership know of our existence.
Our objectives are simple. We merely wish to help others establish a meaningful connection with their Lord Satan, a connection that is personal and unique to each individual, while providing them the chance to interact on a face to face basis with other Satanists of like mind. We would also like to help the Satanic community as a whole by trying to establish honest friendship and respect towards our fellow Devil Worshipers as the basis of our interaction with other Organizations and individuals. We are tired of indulging in the all too common ego games which all Left Hand Path practitioners are all too faimilar with.
