Wild Wild West?

Omaha has looked very good so far in pre-season. A few weeks ago we sat down and got wild than we went to Omaha and did this interview. Devonte Sthal the "real" #1 pick? Maybe we started talking about trading away the #1 pick in the draft:

We are today here in with wild mangement the first question you traded the number 1 pick and were still able to get sthal how concerned were you trading down to 3 you may miss your guy?

I was very concern, but we would have been happy with getting Mark Carr. But I am glad we could get the player we really wanted. It was a win, win situation for our organization.

Having said that you did get your guy how do you see him fitting into your line up this season?

Right now we are planning in using him as a backup to "O-Mac", but he will see quality minutes. We are not trying to overload him at first. As the season goes on he will be asked to do more for our team. This kid has been with our team every since we moved from Adelaide. he was in highschool and went to college at home now he gets to play pro ball at home. One can only dream to do that.

Now camps have just got under way who looks good for you coming into camp?

I am really excited about the offseason training Gerhold Verholm as received and he was the major reason why we didn't resign Branko Filipovic. Which allowed us to take a risk on Angelo Bacchi hoping we struck gold here. Big risk felt by some people, but we are hoping it was a very good risk

Now you find yourself in a new look divison thanks to realignment your thoughts on your rivials?

Just one word, "WOW" This division is very loaded from top to bottom. It has three of the top organization in history in it. The one good think is that I still have my rivials with SLC and Oregon. The one with Oregon is kind of lopsided, but we did beat them once last season. I am looking forward to the new rivalry with Nebraska

Ok on to some league matters the commisoner on this sight promised a tighter called WBA your thoughts on that?

It could be good and bad for a lot of teams. I think teams going to the free throw in games could be more, but that means teams better have a deep bench.

It has been a long offseason with man issues and debates your thoughts as we move forward?

In this league when there is a long off season onwers have time to think about all types of things to better the league some good and some bad, but in all I think this is one of the most competitive and fun leagues that I have ever been invovled in. I Love This Game!!

Lawsuit from NBA to wild organization. But moving on with realignment some teams have left the conference and some have come in who are you glad to see go and sad to see come if anyone?

I am glad to see Alaska come there is one team I know we can beat. I am very sad to see Montana oops I mean Long Island anyway they will always be Montana to me. But I am sad to see this team go I will miss the trash talking that goes on before, during, and after the game with this team. A lot of people don't believe so but he is a very good Coach, GM, and Onwer, just needs to let his team play without all the trades every year.

Ok and finally to avoid bias we are asking managment it the west who will win the east and vice versa so who you like in the east?

Well, I really don't like the east that much:-D. What I seen so far is that Albacete and Gabon has made a real strong push to be top dog in the. I don't think Paris is going just hand ove the east. The Atlantic is a two team race between Paris and Albacete. The Northeast really five teams can win this division. I think this teams beat up on each other and Albacete out plays Paris to win the East. So my selection is Albacete. My dark horses are Andorra and Baltimore even though the issue about cap space come into play with this team they find away to win with no allstars on their team. This team could be really dangerous if their rookies have a good training camp. Thank you for your time and to all the onwers I hope you all have a good season, but just don't have a better one than the Omaha Wild.

That just about does it keeping in mind i have a flight to catch any final thoughts?

Yes, In change there is always a brighter light at the end of the tunnel. I think this realignment will be good for the league. As well as, some of the rules changes the Commish has put into place will keep this league around for a very long time. Hopefully the wild Organization can win a title. Thank you for your time Mr. Ross have a good flight. Check back with us after the season starts.

Thanks good luck too you too.
