Kramer is Moved as Dinos Deal With Zulu.
By Greg Ross
Insiders in Toronto will not be suprised to see that Harry Kramer has been traded. Toronto had been shopping him for the entire preseason. It is said that the organization was not pleased that Kramer turn down a contract exstension that would have gave him a big raise. After that the team signed Hill for big dollars and it seemed obvious that Kramer was on the market. A deal that would have seen Kramer go to Oregon was said to have fallen apart at the last minute this was the same deal that saw Zane Rivers end up in Boston. The Dinos were set to get Jack Berger and a first round pick for cash and Kramer. Same cash and Same Kramer but a little more in return in this deal that has been signed off on by both teams and is pending league approval. The deal looks like this:

Toronto Gets:
Floyd Acevedo SF/PF (Contract last Year 1.38 million)
Oregon's 1st Round pick Season 12
Long Island's 2nd Round pick Season 16
1 million cash Season 13

Capetown Gets:
Harry Kramer PF/C
(Contract Last Year 3 million)
750k Season 12
Kramer is a defensive stud and actually played well in season opener against his now new team scoring 17 points. This deal seemed to be about more than the players involved as the cash will help both teams sign key players hopefully that have contracts coming due. Acevedo while nothing flashy and certainly not the same upside as Kramer is a solid player that does not make many mistakes. Toronto is going to be with out Yee for 9 more games and it would seem that when he returns Jackson and him will dominate the basketball so Acevedo would not be expected to do much and will likely play back up minutes to Quade Nash and Walt Jackson at some points. Another versatile guy that can play multi postions on a team full of them. Coach Jack Armstrong has a variety of ways he can go with his roster every night because of it. But make no mistake till Yee is back it will be hard for this team to win and with this trade maybe even a little harder. But when you consider Kramer could have walked away for nothing at the end of the season this was a deal Toronto had to make. Capetown hopes Harry Kramer can be that last piece to a championship puzzle and the paid a pretty high price to find out. It would be unlikely Kramer would resign there in the offseason as well and is likely just a rent a player for this season. Toronto will now hope Quade Nash can be the power forward they project him to be. Both teams have taken a risk but it's seems that as risks go these are minor ones all in all. No word on when you can expect the new players to line up for their new teams.
