The Youth MP for Thurrock is Cassie Lam.
It is her role to represent Thurrock nationally at the UK Youth
Parliament (UKYP). She works locally and nationally on projects
involving young people.
She is currently making her way around local schools to visit your
school councils to see what you want from us!
Each year there is an annual sitting where the manifesto is reworked
by each of the MYPs (Member of Youth Parliament), voting on issues, such
as anti-social behaviour and Votes @16. The UKYP is split into regions.
