Xion's
Background
Xion, the team’s strategist
and Intel expert is always there to help guide the team through their missions. He
always plans ahead and has several backup plans just in case something goes wrong.
While planning missions, he'll induce parinoia on himself just to make sure he didn't miss
anything. Xion is usually very talkative and always has an opinion to share.
He is a know it all but doesn’t act like it. He is an occasional smart-ass and
a pervert. Xion is also a science fiction nut. You can usually find him
walking around with his handheld computer or laptop.
Xion was born in Berlin, Germany in
1977. At an early age he exhibited signs of genius and his parents thought it best
for him to get an early start on his education. Due to the turmoil in Berlin because of
the existence of the Berlin Wall, his parents sent him away to live with relatives in
America when he was four years old.
Xion lived with his aunt and uncle
in Miami, Florida. Xion was put through school there. He zipped through
Elementary School in less than a year and at age five moved onto Junior High. Xion
progressed at a normal speed there and was put through all of the advanced classes.
He graduated at age eight.
He moved on to High School when he
was nine. In High School he took every advanced course that he could possibly take.
He spent most of his time either in the computer lab or in the weight room where he
decided to get himself into shape. Xion didn’t have very many friends and he
always felt out of place since he was so much younger than everyone else at his school.
When Xion was a Junior (he was eleven at the time) he was being picked on by a
group of Senior boys. After several weeks of torment he decided to get even when he
infected each of their home computers with a virus from the Internet that would slowly eat
away the hard drives. He
named the virus "Nice
Day" and it would bounce around as a little smiley face on the victim's screen as is
destroyed everything.
Xion graduated at age twelve with
full honors. He moved on to go to college, Florida Technical University, the next
year, which he graduated from when he was fifteen. After he graduated he went to
work for VASA (the Virus Aeronautics and Space Administration) as a computer technician.
During the launch of a satellite Xion infected the system with a virus and caused
the shuttle carrying the satellite to crash before getting into orbit. Xion did this
because his boss refused to let him work on a top-secret project that involved a new and
better kind of spacecraft. His
ass hole boss didn't think he could handle it because he was only fifteen.
Xion was caught and brought before
whom he thought was the VASA Head Administrator. After a series of questions he
found out that the woman was the daughter of the VIN Chief Commander. Her name was
Draco and she was here to present Xion with an opportunity to join VIN and her strike
team, which she was busy putting together. Xion agreed since it was better than the
alternative, 50 years of imprisonment.
So in 1994, Xion joined VIN when he
was only 17 years old. After a year of training, he had made friends with the other seven
members of his team, Stryker Team Alpha. Xion especially connected with the shortest
member of the team, Demo who was the explosives and demolitions expert. Demo and
Xion would hang out together a lot since Xion helped Demo set up his explosive charges and
helped calculate and simulate the results on Xion’s laptop. During these times
the pair would talk about any number of things including some rather naughty things about
German strip clubs.
Xion also felt a special loyalty
towards Draco. Before missions the two would get together and discuss mission
strategies and plans. Draco always relied on Xion to help her devise strategies and
create plans to pull them off. This is when they would pull all-nighters and go through
several pots of coffee. It was during that time Draco would call Xion by her self
proclaimed nickname "Zee".
For Xion’s sci-fi obsession, he
would turn to Raven and Shade who would discuss and ramble on about sci-fi movies for
hours. Xion also found it fun to scare the shit out of those two during the discussions by
letting loose a few of his spiders from his rare and exotic collection. While Xion
may like spiders, he has a deathly fear of snakes.
Overall Xion is a hugely valuable
member of the team, devising strategies and helping the team complete their missions.
Without Xion, Stryker wouldn’t be nearly as successful and precise as it is today.
Of course, with the precision,
comes Xion's worst habit, his perversion. Xion is a huge pervert. He hoards a
collection of German porn magazines in his roof. They occupy his closet in roughly
20 boxes, all labeled and dated. Xion never missed the opportunity to make a
perverse comment when the time for it arises. Sometimes Xion's loyalty for Draco is
overridden by his perverse curiousity. Draco often yells at him when she catches him
trying to "sneak a peak". Other than this problem, Xion is a perfectly
normal Stryker, if normal can define it.
