Welcome to the Ozzy and
Drix Season 1 Battle Royal!!! This is a contest between the Ozzy and Drix
characters of Season 1 to see who is the best, and this will be determined entirely by
YOUR votes!!! I have chosen 24 (okay so there's ONE group..) major characters (or
ones who were given names and a role) from the series. The good guy/bad guy ratio is
close to a 1:1. The contestants for this Battle Royal are below. You may click
on their names to get to their character profiles, episode appearances/roles and pictures
(if I was able to obtain them) at the bottom of the page. I suggest you see who the
characters are before voting for them in the poll (forgive me if the info is off in some
aspects). At the end the characters will be ranked from 1-24, first determined by
the rounds that you guys vote and then for the ones that didn't win, determined by the
number of votes that character may have received.
These 20 characters will be
paired up in fights with each other which of course you will decide who will become the
victor and move on to the next round. There will be starting match-ups, semi-finals
and of course, the finals. The starting match-ups have been decided by putting all
of the character's names in a hat and drawing their names so this is totally random.
Some of these fights will be a no brainer as to whom the winner is, others however will be
much more difficult. Below are the starting match-ups as decided by my hat drawing,

Starting Match Schedule and Results
The first date on the list is the
starting date for the voting. The second date is the last day that you can vote
before the polls are closed. The polls will be open for five days (unless the
winner is apparent by a landslide) and closed for a day unless noted on either this or the
main page. The results of the match will be posted ASAP but still depending on when
I can get online. The dates are obviously subject to change and this is obviously
the longest part of the process. This voting rate should take us through the second
season of Ozzy and Drix. The winners of each match will go on to the
quarter-finals. You may vote more than once. The results of these match ups will
help determine the winner of the Semi-finals.

How the Semi-Finals and Finals Work
As many of you may have noticed
by now, the results of the starting match-ups will give us six winners that will be voted
up on pairs of two for the semi. There will be three winners going into the
finals. Before the finals take place, I will hold a vote as to how they will be
done. You have two choices. One of your choices is to drop the semi-final
winner with the lowest amount of votes out of the finals so there will be only two
characters to remain in the finals. Your other choice is to let all three go to the
finals and have a three-way battle to see who will come out victorious. Remember,
the choice is up to you, so think about it.

Name: Maria Amino |
| Episode Appearances: Home with Hector,
Reflex, Oh My Dog, Gas of Doom, Where There's Smoke and Growth |
| Info: Maria Amino is a spunky,
hyperactive member of the HPD. The WB website says she's an amino acid but in Oh My
Dog only white blood cells stuck to the allergen and she did so I think she's a white
blood cell. Maria is always helping out Ozzy and Drix in their endless quest to
protect Hector. She's usually their HPD inside source. Maria lost her father
to the Great White Bean (Gas of Doom) while he was studying marine life. |

Name: Osmosis Jones |
| Episode Appearances: Every Episode,
he's the star damnit! |
| Info: He was transferred into Hector
via mosquito bite and has vowed to protect Hector and not let him get into the state of
health that Frank got himself into. Osmosis is wild and stubborn, usually blowing
his own cover. He's also a hotshot who thinks he can do almost anything.
However, he usually kept in check by his partner Drix. Ozzy is of course a white
blood cell and with Drix, runs a Private Investigation agency. |

Name: Drix |

episode, he's the co-star after all! |
| Info: Drix is a cold pill and Ozzy's
faithful partner. Compared to the other cells in the body, Drix is huge. He
assists Ozzy on missions, armed with his cannon arm and a full medicine chest cabinet,
he's ready to take on anything. Drix is usually the rational one of the pair,
although at times he can be the more silly one. He often reverts to his inner child
when he spots a toy or a pinball machine or something of that sort. |

Name: Chief Gluteus |

episode except for Gas of Doom, The Dream Factory and Sugar Shock |
| Info: As revealed to us in Oh My Dog,
Chief Gluteus is a muscle cell, although he's really not that tough. He has more
bark and less bite. He's one of those types who like to act tough, although he does
his job as the Chief of the HPD well, showing up whenever he is needed, or whenever the
Mayor tells him too. |

Name: Mayor Spryman |

| Info: Like Hector, Mayor Spryman is a
teenager. He's really not that good of a mayor, mainly because he listens to his two
brain cell advisors all the time. He cares about Hector but is also quite
self-centered. He hates Osmosis Jones and enjoys pissing him off or making fun of
him at every opportunity he can get. Spryman really is a jerk but his favorite band
is Metabolica. |

Name: The Mole |

Sugar Shock and Ozzy Jr. (I think there's more though...) |
| Info: The Mole is Ozzy's contact for
operating outside the law and breaking the Mayor's orders. The Mole has that
paranoid Russian super spy personality. He thinks that everyone is out to get him
and appears out of nowhere or comes out of weird places. He has secret code
words/phrases, "mysterious" exits that don't work, spy gadgets, helpful
information, useful contacts and secret stashes. |

Name: Ellen Patella |
| Episode Appearances: Home With Hector
and Oh My Dog |
| Info: Ellen Patella is Osmosis Jones
and Drix's lawyer. She was appointed to them when they first entered Hector.
She helped them become citizens of Hector and helped them start their Private Eye
business. |

Name: Dander |
| Episode Appearances: Oh My Dog and
Where There's Smoke (I think he was at the air fair in the beginning.) |
| Info: Dander is the dog that Drix
found. He entered Hector from a stray dog that licked Hector across the face.
At the time, a new allergen was attacking Hector and Dander was wrongly accused of being
that allergen. He also does very good Ozzy impressions and can bury Ozzy up to his
neck in the sand. |

Name: Penicillin G. |

| Info: Penicillin G. was injected into
Hector when he was sick and went to the doctor's. Penicillin was put in the body to
help stop Strepfinger. He's a James Bond type and he makes Ozzy really jealous,
especially when he gets the girl at the end of the episode. |

Name: Hector Cruz |
| Episode Appearances: Every episode, he
IS the body that the series takes place in you know... |
| Info: Hector is a teenage boy going
through all of the problems that a person his age may face. Things like girls,
bullies, smoking, home life, getting sick and of course school. Lucky for him, he's
got Ozzy and Drix to protect him and make sure he grows up right. |

Name: Scarlet |
| Episode Appearances: Home with Hector |
| Info: Scarlet is the Scarlet
Fever. He originally came from Frank but just as Ozzy and Drix did, entered Hector
via mosquito. While quite harmless in an adult, he's deadly to a child.
Scarlet immediately goes to the liver where he drinks the insulin there and gets
pumped. He then attacks Hector with the goal of causing some serious heart damage to
Hector. However, he's stopped when Osmosis steers his helicopter into the spleen. |

Name: Nicotine |

| Info: Nicotine is the lead
addictive chemical in cigarette smoke. Hector inhales him when he tries a smoke
with an older and "cooler" kid at his school who's into the same band that he's
in. Nic and Ozzy have met before, presumably in Frank. Nic proceeds to take
over the minds of all the cells in Hector. He plans to get Hector addicted to
cigarettes by changing the objects of Hector's pleasure center in the brain and he almost
succeeds. He fails when Hector sees his crush, Christine. His love for her
ultimately stops Nic form taking over his pleasure center. |

Name: Butane |

| Info: Butane is also a chemical in
cigarette smoke. He's the same chemical used in lighter fluid so he kind of glows
orange and throws fire balls. He "dies" in a fight with Ozzy when he runs
into a nerve receptor. |

Name: Strepfinger |
| Episode Appearances: Strep-finger and
Ozzy Jr. |
| Info: Strepfinger is the James Bond
equivalent to Goldfinger. He tries to infect Hector with strep throat and I think
pneumonia but fails, thanks to the intervention of Osmosis Jones. He also has this
weird little cell thing that I think is supposed to be a cat. He carries it around
and is petting it all the time. |

Name: Smirch |
| Episode Appearances: Street Up |
| Info: Smirch is an acne bacteria who
Drix accidentally hires when he wants to learn how to become street smart. Smirch
uses Drix to break into an oil refinery and put a bit zit in the middle of Hector's
forehead. Oddly enough he is stopped with large amounts of tooth paste. |

Name: Sal Monella |
| Episode Appearances: The Globfather |
| Info: Sal and his gang hijack the
Mayor's yacht for the purpose of dumping large amounts of toxic waste into Hector's
digestive system. He's the classic Mafia type crime boss and reminds me of that
gangster from Loony Toons. |

Name: Tar |
| Episode Appearances: Where There's
Smoke |
| Info: Another cigarette smoke
chemical. Tar isn't too bright and needs to be told by Nic what to do several
times. His whole body is composed of tar which Osmosis gets his foot stuck in when
he tries to kick him. He gets fried when he tries to help pull Butane out of the
nerve receptor. |

Name: Smog (I still
think that's the wrong name...) |

| Info: The final member of Nic's
group. She's the only female member and doesn't really have a big role. She's
composed as if she was actually made of smoke, transparent, whispy and all that jazz. |

Name: Slyvian Fisher |
| Episode Appearances: Growth |
| Info: He's running against Spryman in
the next election and uses his growth formula to cause growth spurts in Hector. This
makes the Mayor look bad. He's a real geek with a secret lab in his campaign HQ and
even turns himself into a muscle bound monster with the vocabulary of the words "Must
crush Spryman." |

Name: The Allergen |

| Info: This is the allergen that is
currently staging an attack in Hector. The allergen is a little guy with two thumbs
who grows to the size of a building. He's kind of annoying and constantly says
"Little things get big." every time someone says something to him or asks him a
question. |

Name: Travis Lum |
| Episode Appearances: Nearly every
episode, he can be found when Hector makes his appearances |
| Info: Travis is Hector's best
friend. He's always there to give Hector advice, although some of it's rather bad
advice, lend Hector a hand when he needs it or of course make fun of him like a good
friend should. Travis has a cat who can play the tuba. |

Name: Uno |
| Episode Appearances: Oh My Dog and Gas
of Doom |
| Info: Uno is the name that was given to
the stray dog Hector found. Hector's mom let him keep the dog but only after
finding out that Hector was really allergic to flowers and not the dog itself. |

Name: Metabolica |
| Episode Appearances: Where There's
Smoke, Growth and a few others |
| Info: Metabolica is the number one band
in Hector, even Spryman likes them and that says a lot. They are a heavy metal band,
most likely the cellular equivalent of Metallica. Their lead singer has three legs. Their
most memorable performance is when they played for Nic as his mind slaves and Nic was the
lead singer. |

Name: The General |

| Info: The General is this short,
little, green guy who commands the germ army. He is ordering his army to steal sugar
from Hector's sugar reserves. He is French and has a French accent. He and his
army are defeated when Ozzy, Drix and The Mole trick them into eating the sugar which they
had really switched with salt, AKA the secret ingredient. |
