 Restoration chapel minnesota started in september 1998, as a house fellowship and later metemorphosized into a church, a baby of Restoration Chapel Houston. The initial attendance was about twenty worshippers. Restoration Chapel, St. Paul Minnesota had its first service in September at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer located on Dale street in St. Paul . Services were twice a week, Thursday and Sundays. The church started off very well with bi monthly revival which God used to bring new members and encourage the old members. Right from the onset the pastor set to remove any notion that this church is just another African church. In order to achieve this, the pastorate got in touch with non-African and today Restoration chapel is a place where people from every race worship in one accord. The Sunday service had to start 11:45 to avoid conflict with our landlord Lutheran church of the Redeemer. At the inaugural service, Pastor Aknni had asked Pastor dave Okunade to bring a pastor to oversee the new parish. Pastor Okunade prayed and God told him to use the material he has, that pastor Akanni should pastor the church. The church has been blessed to have great men of God such as Rev James Solomon, Rev Ayorinde, pastor Bernard Ankomah, amongst other to preach at special rivival services. The church witnessed some tremendous visitation and a great move of the Holy Spirit during this time with some outstanding miracles.
