Pictures I've taken
Ok, I know I'm not a great photographer, but I just thought I'd put some
pictures I've taken on the internet. And since this is, after all, MY
SITE, I can do just that. Don't like it? Tough.
In a quest to see
how well I could take pictures, I decided to try it out at the women's
basketball Phillips 66 Invitational at Cuesta, with an official Cuestonian
digital camera. However, I failed to turn the flash on, so almost all of
the images had extreme motion blur on them. Yet, as I was going through
them, a photographer friend of mine said that they were "very cool."
We couldn't print them in the paper, but I did agree, the motion blur did make
for some cool pictures. Check out the better ones below out.

sees this on here, so enjoy it, I might take it off later.) |

(with some very cool "ghost" effects) |

| The ghost effects in this are so great, you can't even
tell who the players are. We're the ones in white. |
This is actually the only
picture I took that were even remotely considered for print. And if our
photographer, Bob, hadn't turned in some incredible photos for that issue, then
this would have gone in.

Well, I finally did get a
picture printed, in the April 12, 2002 issue of the Cuestonian. They had a
History Day for local grade school and high school kids at Cuesta! Here's
the photo that I took that went with my article:
