1. You drank your first beer before graduating the 8th grade. 2. You have been to atleast one family function that took place at a local bar. 3. You have a special spot in your heart for a certain 101 Deli and their chicken parm hero. 5. You have spent a considerable amount of your life sitting on 129th street talking to your friends about how much more fun everything would be when you got your liscense and as soon as you did get the license....you are proud to say that you immediately did a lap of 129th street...and then you did another lap. 6. You know Gus the ice cream man. 7. You've snuck into the back door of the old Irish Circle. 8. You have drunkenly RIPPED up the dance floor on Wacky Wednesday by yourself. 9. You own a Hampton Cruiser (and are confused when people who aren't from Rockaway have no idea what it is) and have perfected the art of riding the handle bar. 10. Officer Beecher knows you by name and you have run away from him down the beach countless times. 11. You've drank at the pipe, pit, or lighthouse in Breezy Point. 12. You have been to kegs on 149th ("the field") and wanted to take off running every time any car that so much as resembled a police car passed by. 13. You walk down 129th and know the life stories of just about everyone you see. 14. You're Irish...or Jewish. 15. You are convinced St. Patrick's Day is in the beginning of March. 16. You are used to having to cross a bridge to get anywhere. 17. You know exactly what a DFD is...you can spot them from miles away...and you hate them. 18. You and your friends have established a group and gave it a name- usually made up of initials. 19. Even if you you didn't go to St. Francis, you know all about the McCallaughs. 20. You and all you're friends are lifeguards...and if you aren't, you wish you were.
