Vegeta walked out on to what he was now calling his battle field.
Behind him, Goku stood there looking around. Vegeta closed his eyes
as he envisioned the future fight; the fate and the death of his
opponent...if that should be the case. Slowly opening his eyes, he
realized that his opponent was no where to be found.
"Where is he? I thought you said he would be here," Goku said as he
looked around, almost answering the very question Vegeta was
repeating in his mind.
About to answer, their attentions turned as a black shadow suddenly
appeared in front of them, a distance aways. It formed revealing
that of Kitarro. Standing there with his arms to his side he looked
at Vegeta as their eyes locked.
"Are you sure you are ready for me Prince?" Kitarro asked.
Kitarro had changed; this was apparent. His words carried no
sarcasm, no hint of emotion or feeling. It was like he was being
channeled by something more powerful than his own being. Looking at
him both Goku and Vegeta knew that the demon was being completely
serious; he would not hold back, nor would he play around.
Staring at each other from a distance the two fighters, Vegeta and
Kitarro remained still. The silence deafened the area as Goku
stepped back to give Vegeta his space. Without any words, Vegeta
powered up to Super Saiyan. Kitarro watched as his eyes began to
meld into nothing but reds...
The ground, the area became deadly silent. It was almost as if they
were afraid to breath. The energies began to increase, Vegeta's
flowing freely through the battle field, kicking up smaller bits of
debris and dust as it swirled around Vegeta. Kitarro's energy, just
as strong kept the ground flat beneath it. It moved nothing nor did
it stir up any wind. It was almost as if he had not powered up at
all, even if a ki reading suggested otherwise.
Staring deeper into each other's eyes, they both stood there in
silence as if waiting for a bell. Then finally...it came. A small
rock from a nearby cliff, disturbed by Vegeta's energy, crumbled
from it's spot. It fell in silence only make a noise as it struck
the ground. As the noise resounded throughout both fighters, they
immediately disappeared from view.
Vegeta appeared on the ground a few feet away as he threw a punch.
He moved his head as Kitarro appeared behind him throwing a punch as
well. Ducking, the saiyan dropped, spinning around, knocking
Kitarro's feet out from under him. Kitarro flipped back and stopped,
powering up as he created his sword in his hand. Flying forward, he
swung at Vegeta, who jumped and then went to kick Kitarro in the
side of the head. Kitarro stepped back, grabbing Vegeta's ankle and
in a forceful blow, flipped the Prince in front of him, slamming him
into the ground.
The force pushed Kitarro into the air as he hovered and created his
sword, slicing it down into the ground at Vegeta. Vegeta increased
his speed as Kitarro's sword smack the Earth were he had been. He
appeared to Kitarro's side, raising his arm to block another weapon
attack while using his other hand to fire a blast into the demon's
stomach, sending him flying back.
Vegeta now took on the offensive as he flew forward, slamming his
fists into Kitarro's face as stomach, pausing as he formed his hands
together, creating a giant ball of ki that he threw directly into
the demon's face...
Kitarro received the blast directly as he went flying back into the
rock wall. Vegeta flew after him as he smashed his fist into
Kitarro's face, imbedding him into the wall further. He continued to
punch and knee him over and over again, getting more and more
excited as he watched the demon begin to spit up blood.
"Are you sure you're ready for me?" Vegeta smirked as he mocked.
Kitarro panted as he felt Vegeta stop. Vegeta ripped him from the
wall as he threw him across the ground. Kitarro disappeared as he
appeared back on his feet. He glared but said nothing as Vegeta
turned. Powering up to Level 2 Super Saiyan, Vegeta began walking
towards the demon; carrying the ground with him.
Kitarro narrowed his eyes as he tightened his hands into fists. His
energy suddenly increasing, the ground underneath him started to
crack and suddenly uproot. His eyes burned with red as he stared at
his oncoming foe.
They flew forward into attack mode, both exchanging crushing blows
and kicks. Vegeta powered up and his fists slammed into Kitarro's
own. As Kitarro threw a punch, he created his sword in his free hand
and swung it towards Vegeta. Vegeta stepped back as Kitarro came
down with it, slicing it into his shoulder. As he did, Vegeta kneed
him in the stomach. They both staggered back but then charged
towards each other again, both locking blow for blow...
Throwing a punch, Kitarro's fist contacted with Vegeta's face as
Vegeta's fist did the same to Kitarro's. They glared as Vegeta kneed
him in the stomach then threw a punch to his jaw, sending him flying
upward.
Spinning in the air, Kitarro moved like he was a gymnast, stopping
in mid air. Vegeta powered up as he formed his hands together and
threw a blast at him. Kitarro created his sword as the blast slammed
into it. A deflection shield appeared around the demon as the blast
soon imploded and disappeared. When the attack was finished Kitarro
lowered his weapon, suddenly shifting his eyes behind him to see
Vegeta going to throw a punch. Kitarro turned and kicked, smashing
his foot into Vegeta's head, sending the Prince to the ground.
Vegeta flipped before he hit the ground as Kitarro chased after him
suddenly disappearing.
Looking around, suddenly ten Kitarro's appeared around Vegeta.
Getting into a fighting stance, Vegeta shifted his eyes to each of
them trying to decipher which one he should attack first.
"Mirror mirror on the wall..which one is going to kill us all?"
The voice, definately distinguished as the demon's, echoed through
out the battle field as suddenly ten demons attack Vegeta. Attacking
with punches and kicks, Vegeta did his best, blocking them before he
yelled, powering up. His energy exploded across the ground, wiping
out the nine images and leaving just one that he charged towards.
Kitaro disappeared as he appeared behind Vegeta who turned and threw
a punch to his face. Kitarro grabbed his wrist, pulling him forward
as he slammed his knee into Vegeta's stomach. As the Prince doubled
over from instint, Kitarro, with his knee in Vegeta's stomach,
rammed his elbow into the back of Vegeta's neck.
Vegeta felt himself cough up some blood, as Kitarro released him,
kneeing him in the chin twice before kicking him in the face,
sending him flying backward. Vegeta hit the ground as he staggered
and stood up. Kitarro was already flying forward as Vegeta ducked to
avoid the blade of Kitarro's weapon. Stopping Kitarro turned as
Vegeta disappeared and disappeared as if following him...
They appeared in the air as Vegeta's arm blocked a blow from
Kitarro's sword. Both fighters were face to face, growling at each
other as their eyes burned into each other as well. They backed away
and then charged forward again, punching and blocking, disappearing
and appearing all over the sky and the ground. Kitarro landed on the
ground, flying low and to the left as he headed towards the water,
Vegeta appearing infront of him as he threw a blast. Kitarro
disappeared to avoid the attack, appearing high in the air, throwing
an attack down towards Vegeta.
The blast pushed Vegeta into the water, under it, as it exploded.
His energy increasing, the water erupted around him as Kitarro flew
down towards him with his sword, swinging and missing and swinging
again. Vegeta moved from side to side as he sped across the water,
Kitarro in hot persuit after him.
Turning to throw a blast, Vegeta realized Kitarro was now in front
of him. He turned only to receive a punch to the face. Grabbing
Kitarro's wrist he threw him into the water as he flew upwards
towards the sky. From underneath the water, five energy blasts
suddenly came flying upward. Vegeta flew as the blasts followed him.
Kitarro then appeared directly above him, raising his hand, his
index finger extended as he created a large ki attack and threw it
at Vegeta.
With blasts coming from behind and now a large one coming down at
him, Vegeta had no choice but to defend himself, raising his hands
up in front of his face to protect himself as the blasts came
crashing down into him...
A blindly light flooded the area, followed by strong amounts of
smoke as the blasts crashed into the Prince, leaving him inside the
ball, coughing and gasping for air. He powered up so that his energy
would move the smoke away. As he looked, he saw Kitarro hovering
there with his arms crossed, looking down at him.
"Admit Defeat?" Kitarro asked.
Vegeta did not respond as he powered up, a low growl resounding
within his throat. He could feel the blood on his face, soaking
through his shirt and worst of all...staining his gloves. His
appearance said it all...he wasn't finished yet.
Kitarro smirked as he felt Vegeta powering up. Lowering his arms he
watched as Vegeta hovered up to be in front of him. They both stared
as their energies started to mix together, Kitarro's red aura now
very visible.
Vegeta suddenly threw a punch, which Kitarro caught with his hand.
Kitarro then used his free hand to throw a punch. Their fists soon
locked as they tightened their grip on each other. Glaring, Vegeta
went to knee Kitarro, who blocked his attack with his own knee.
Almost as if they both knew what attack was coming next, they leaned
back and then smashed their foreheads together. Their eyes locked as
they both growled hastily and continued to do it several times over.
As they continued, their grip from each other weakened as Kitarro
backed up and landed a kick to Vegeta's side. Vegeta grabbed
Kitarro's leg as he swung him, releasing him towards the ground...
As Vegeta lays on the ground, panting steadily, Kitarro appears just
above his head looking down at him.
"You know boss, we are both quite strong. Want to call it a day?"
Kitarro asked with a smirk clearly showing he was back to
his..normal self.
Vegeta sits up as he stares out, looking at all the damage they've
done. He then stands and stretches only to realize his arm has been
knocked out of place, gripping it he winces in pain. Kitarro looked
at him with slight concern.
"Are you okay?"
"Shut up, I'm fine," Vegeta grumbled as he started to walk away.
Realizing something Kitarro then responds, "Hey, what happened to
Goku?"
Vegeta stopped as the thought hit him as well. They both looked
around but Goku was no where to be found. Smirking Vegeta responded
sarcastically, "Maybe he died."
Kitarro just laughed...
