--Begin Transmission--
Goku: Goku opened his eyes and saw Vegeta flying at him. He didnt really have time to do anything except brace himself. Vegeta's punch found its mark and Goku flew back a few feet. Flipping back, his feet hit the ground and he pushed off, heading back towards his fellow saiyan. This time, he was the one throwing the punch.
Vegeta: Through the smoke Vegeta felt his attack make contact. As Kakarott flew back, Vegeta chased after him with his fist out ready to attack again. He flew out of the smoke only to be hit flying back into it. Powering up he blew it all away as he stood there glaring at Goku.
Vegeta: C'mon Kakarott.. stop playing games.
Goku: Goku smiled and tightened his muscles, feeling his power rise. He jumped from his normal state to his super saiyan two form. He gave Vegeta a slight smirk and put his hands to his sides. "Is that more like it, Vegeta?"
Vegeta: It's a start..
Goku: "Well.. Save your best for last. I still want to try out my new technique. I figured you would be the only person that could give it a good test run."
Vegeta: Hmpf... what makes you think you are going to live that long? At the rate you're going I'll have killed you in under 10 minutes.
Goku: "Whatever you say, Vegeta." He put his hands to his face and smiled. "Solar...FLARE!!!"
Vegeta: *quickly turns his head away* DAMN YOU
Vegeta: *throws a blast in his direction*
Goku: Goku took this opportunity to charge at him, until he saw the blast. He quickly deflected it and threw a kick to the side of Vegeta's head.
Vegeta: *takes a step back, forcing his eyes open as he grabbed Goku's ankle and tossed him into the ground*
Goku: Goku hits the ground, but does a hand stand, kicking back at Vegeta's chest. Once on his feet, he throws him a blast of his own.
Vegeta: *jumps back and throws another blast to counter that attack*
Goku: "Come on, Vegeta. I thought you said I was the one slacking?" Using instant transmission, he appears directly infront of Vegeta, using rapid fire punches.
Vegeta: *starts to block the attacks the best he can as the force from each punch moves him across the ground. he waits, watching carefully for an opening so he can start his own attack*
Goku: As he finishes his punching, Goku thrusts his knee up towards Vegeta's ribs.
Vegeta: *doubles over*
Goku: Throws his elbow down at the back of Vegeta's neck.
Vegeta: *goes towards the ground but shifts his wieght and moves, instead, knocking Kakarott's feet out from under him.*
Goku: Goku falls on his back and gasps loudly, catching his breath. "Good one, Vegeta."
Vegeta: *flips and lands on his feet saying nothing as he lowers his hand* BIG BANG ATTACK! *fires the attack towards Kakarott*
Goku: Goku smiles, knowing what is coming up. He powers up as fast as he can, but not going super saiyan three. "Alright.. this is what I was waiting for." He says to himself. Closing his eyes he focuses all of his energy, concentrating on his new technique.
Goku: Still laying on the ground, Goku is engulfed by Vegeta's big bang attack. When its over, the smoke and debris are so thick that its amlost impossible to see. When it finally does clear, Goku is standing perfectly still, unscathed by Vegeta's attack. "And that... is my new technique." He smiled, knowing Vegeta would be dumbfounded. His gi was torn to shreds, but he didnt have a scratch.
Vegeta: ....
Vegeta: *doesn't quite get it*... so what?! who cares?! You probably just ate a senzu
Vegeta: anyone can do that!
Goku: "Nope.. no senzu beans.. Promise! This was all me." He smiles and takes a deep breath. "The only draw back is.. so far.. I can only do it once per battle. It takes a lot out of me."
Vegeta: *smirks deviously* what a stupid trick.
Vegeta: and to think.. you wasted it already
Goku: "Stupid? Aww.. Come on Vegeta! Its a great trick!"
Vegeta: It is not!
Vegeta: That stupid Namek can do the same thing!
Goku: "Yeah it is.. you used a lot of your energy in that attack. I didnt even feel it!" He smiled and scratched the back of his head.
Vegeta: *agitated* Stop holding back! I know you have something else up your sleeve. *feeling his hands tighten into fists*
Goku: "Something else? Well.. hmm..." He scratches his chin and thinks for a moment. "I thought that technique was pretty good. At least Im not beat down yet. Its kind of like turning your body to stone."
Vegeta: ...
Vegeta: *frowns* That's it?!
Vegeta: That's the only thing you brought back with you to show me?!
Vegeta: *punches him in the shoulder mostly in jest* WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! YOU ARE IMPOSSIBLE KAKAROTT...
Goku: "Well.. it depends on how powerful you are. The more power you put in it.. the more powerful the attack you can take. And you dont feel a thing."
Vegeta: There's no point to that!
Vegeta: *doesn't understand it*
Goku: Looks at him with a disappointed look. "What do you mean?"
Vegeta: Did you forget that everytime we come closer to death we get stronger? Why would you want to make yourself invincible when you can gain more power in the long run.??
Vegeta: *pulls on his tail* and you even have a tail you moron! you could kill anyone by going oozaru!
Goku: "Ahh.. not invincible.. Just able to basically... deflect a single strong attack. One.. lets say.. like the one Frieza did to you back on Namek."
Vegeta: ...*stops*
Goku: "The point is.. not to use it for just any attack.."
Goku: He looks at him, wondering if he should go on
Vegeta: ...*waiting*
Goku: "Well... ok.. lets say that someone is attacking you... somone... a lot stronger! This technique could be used to deflect their strongest attack. In the end.. they think they have you, since the technique also masks your power level. When in reality.. you arent even scratched. I was hoping to use it as a surprise."
Vegeta: ...surprise?
Vegeta: against what?
Vegeta: *smirks* I'm your biggest enemy ...
Goku: "Yeah! Well... If someone like Broly came back, super powerful. If I used this trick.. he might think he got me in one blast. While he lets his guard down, I can attack!" He smiles and hopes that Vegeta gets it.
Vegeta: I get it...
Vegeta: I still don't think it's worth learning though.
Goku: "Oh well.. You thought instant transmisson was stupid too."
Vegeta: ...
Vegeta: it is stupid!
Vegeta: I hate that technique
Vegeta: *doesn't like to dematerialize because it causes him to become disoriented*.... ...
Goku: ahh
Goku: Goku continues to smile. Even thought Vegeta doesnt like it... He entends to improve it
Vegeta: ..*crosses his arms* So that's it huh?
Vegeta: you've been gone so long and that is all you have to show for it?
Goku: "For now." He smiles as if he's hiding something.
Vegeta: *eyes him*
Vegeta: *getting more agitated wondering if he's really achieved a new level*
Goku: "Lets just say that.. Ill save the rest for the tournament. Saalade isnt going to be an easy fight. But.. Ill be ready."
Vegeta: Saalade? Who is that? Don't tell me we have another Saiyan on this planet...
Goku: Goku's jaw drops and his eyes get bigger. "He's... He's a SAIYAN!!!??? Wow! No wonder he has such a strong power level for still being a kid." He raises an eyebrow, not realizing he had misunderstood Vegeta.
Vegeta: What?... He's a saiyan?
Goku: "HUH?? I.. I thought you said he was a saiyan??"
Vegeta: BAKA.. I asked you if he was
Goku: Smiling like an idiot, Goku scratched his head and laughs. "Ooops.. heh heh.. Sorry about that. Umm.. No.. to my knowledge he isnt a saiyan.. But I wouldnt reccomend fighting him right now, Vegeta. He has Pan. I can risk her getting hurt. Thats why I agreed to the tournament."
Vegeta: .......*wondering why he didn't sense the energy early and reminds himself to pay more close attention to these things* ..
Goku: "Not only that.. but he's the one that attacked Gohan and Goten."
Vegeta: hm
Goku: "Well.. shall we continue?"
Vegeta: *shifts his eyes to him* are you sure you want to continue? *dry sarcasm* after all, you just used your little trick..
Goku: "Thats alright. I didnt need it before. I just wanted to show it to you... and try it out."
Vegeta: hm
Vegeta: I don't understand you Kakarott..*drop his arms* You don't need it yet you have it anyway.
Vegeta: eh, whatever.
Goku: "Aww.. I didnt really say that I didnt need it sometime.. just not right now.. I still plan on using it."
Vegeta: hm
Vegeta: *thinks* well, we really don't need to train together.
Vegeta: I can do fine on my own.. I think you should go take care of those slacking sons of yours.
Goku: "We dont? I thought you wanted to train?"
Goku: "Well..."
Goku: "What about this..."
Vegeta: Besides, It's not the same.
Goku: "Not the same?"
Vegeta: *shakes his head* You are training.. if we were to train I'd rather it be a fight... and what a better way to do that then in a tournament ring..right?
Vegeta: *remembering their last fight as a smirk crosses his face*
Goku: Goku's expression changes. "Yeah! Sure! I thought that you just didnt want to fight me anymore, or something. This will be great!"
Vegeta: HA! The day I don't want to fight you will be the day the sky turns pink.
Goku: "Like your shirt!??"
Vegeta: ...........
Vegeta: SHUT UP
Goku: "heh heh!"
Vegeta: *growls*
Goku: "well.. if you want to wait.. thats alright with me. I was just getting warmed up though. Be sure to give me everything at our match!"
Vegeta: don't worry..
Vegeta: I don't hold back like you do.
Goku: "Dont worry, Vegeta. At our real match... I wont hold back."
Vegeta: good..
Vegeta: because if you do then I'll start killing people.
Goku: Goku looks at him with a stern look. "Dont even joke about that, Vegeta."
Vegeta: *light laugh*
Goku: "Vegeta..."
Vegeta: what?
Goku: "You know I wont let you do that."
Vegeta: *smirks* well then I guess you better not hold back when we fight then eh?
Goku: "Why wait?" Goku rips the rest of his gi top off and fires a blast at Vegeta. "If you want a fight... Might as well have it now."
Vegeta: ...*moves his head to the side to avoid the attack*... ... *staring at him*
Goku: "Whats the matter, Vegeta? You knew what buttons to push... You knew what you were doing. If you want serious... lets go."
Vegeta: *disbelieving* you're kidding me right..
Goku: His ki builds on a steady rise, finally making it back to super saiyan two. He looks to Vegeta with a slight smirk. "Do I look like Im kidding now?"
Vegeta: ....*eyes him skeptically wondering what kind of joke this is*...*smirks*
Goku: "Oh.. I see.. You want everything? Alright." Continued to raise his power, yelling out as his body canges, now becoming level three. "That better?"
Vegeta: *starts laughing at him as he turns to face him*
Goku: "Whats the matter, Vegeta? Laughing the fear away?"
Vegeta: *stops and glares* Don't mock me... *powers up*
Goku: "Hmm.. Whats the matter? Dont want to play anymore? Things are fine when you are in control... but.. How about now? Then again.. it makes me wonder, and Im sure you do too. Where you really ever..."in control"?"
Vegeta: *snaps* WHAT?!
Goku: Smiles, waiting for him to flip out.
Vegeta: *powers up and charges forward, attacking him head on with a fury of punches*
Goku: Smiles and starts blocking the punches, one after the other. "Thats more like it, Vegeta." Powers up again, using his energy as a force to push him away, then fires four rapid fire ki blasts.
Vegeta: *jumps back, moving to a different spot to avoid each one as he takes off into the sky and lowers his hands, throwing a blast down towards Goku*
Goku: The blast hits Goku, sending him to one knee. He looks up and flys up to where Vegeta is, ready to hit him in the back of the head, and send him crashing to the ground.
Vegeta: *fades away before the attack can occur and appears to the side in attempt to punch Kakarott*
Goku: Catching Vegeta's fist, he holds on tightly and flys as fast as he can to the ground, swinging Vegeta down, causing a huge sink hole.
Vegeta: *hits the ground, wincing as he makes impact with it*
Goku: "My turn." Puts his hands to his side. "Ka....Me..Ha...Meee......." Holds the blast in his hands, ready to fire it into the ground, after Vegeta.
Vegeta: *stands up and looks up at him, powering up til his energy is closer to Kakarott's*
Goku: "HAAAAAAAA!!!!!" The large kamehameha wave is sent, flying towards Vegeta, ready to hit its target.
Vegeta: *smirks and splits his image to two, each going an opposite direction, to either side of Goku, forming their hands together to create energy blasts and release them at the same time, one coming from the left and one from the right*
Goku: Goku vanishes before the blasts could hit him. He appears over head, with his hands still in his kamehameha pose. The large blue blast flys out of the hole ans speeds towards Vegeta again.
Vegeta: *fuses together and fades away to appear behind Kakarott*
Goku: Goku controls the wave to fly directly at him, then disappears, letting the attack continue after Vegeta. "Having fun, Vegeta!?"
Vegeta: SHUT UP! *slices the wave in half as it comes towards him*
Goku: Now in two parts, the wave explodes beside Vegeta. Goku watches on, waiting for the smoke to clear.
Vegeta: *starts throwing multiple energy attacks down towards him*
Goku: Seeing the blasts coming, Goku throws his arms up, letting them hit him. He continues to fly forward, even with the blasts hitting him. With the smoke covering him, he reaches out and grabs Vegeta by the throat. Holding him tightly, he punches at his face.
Vegeta: *grips Kakarott's arms as he starts to choke*
Goku: The punch lands, but Goku doesnt stop. He hits him two more times, then grabs him, slamming his back into his raised knee.
Vegeta: *winces as he coughs, the last attack nearly paralyzing him from doing any quick movements*
Goku: Letting go, Goku hovers above him and puts both his hands together, slamming them into his fellow saiyan's chest.
Vegeta: *goes flying down towards the ground*
Vegeta: *forces himself to stop and flips, hovering just above the ground as he looks up to Kakarott*
Goku: Taking a breather, Goku floats down beside his friend and takes a couple of steps back
Vegeta: *watches him land, his agitation burning deeper inside of him* you ... .. ... ... ...
Goku: "Having fun yet?" He charges at Vegeta again, throwing a couple of blasts along the way.
Vegeta: *powers up and turns lowering his hand as if to do a Big Bang* OBLITERATION ATTACK HA! *fires a massive ki attack similar to the Big Bang towards Goku*
Goku: Goku's eyes widen as the blast engulfs him. He is sent flying back through about three trees. "Ohh man.. Oww. that one was deffinatly a good one." He slowly stands up and takes a deep breath. He uses instant transmission and appears right back infront of Vegeta. "RYU GEN EXPLOSION!!!" Throwing his powerful punch at Vegeta, he tries to control the power, not wanting to kill him.
Vegeta: *smirks, giving himself a little credit for having actually hit his opponent. as Kakarott appears, he raises his arm up to defend himself but it doesn't do much good as the attack throws him back anyway*
Goku: Goku watched as Vegeta was thrown back. He takes this time to think about his next moves... if Vegeta wanted to continue. "You alright over there, Vegeta!?"
Vegeta: Shut up!
Vegeta: Don't take that tone with me!!
Vegeta: *stands up, glaring at him*
Goku: "Alright.."
Goku: "But.. you know, Vegeta... This could go on forever."
Goku: Looking at him, still ready for anything
Vegeta: *standing there staring at him as his power continues to increase, pulling up small pebbles and debris around him*
Goku: Goku smiled and did the same, their combined powers rising tore the ground out from under them.
Vegeta: *smirks* And I thought you were giving up...
Goku: "Give up? No way. Its just getting interesting."
Vegeta: *powers up and yells as he charges forward, fading away before he reaches him and appears behind him, ramming his elbow into the back of Goku's neck*
Goku: "GAHHH!!!" Goku yells out as the elbow connects with his neck. He falls to the ground and starts to get up. "Darn.. Wasnt expecting that one..."
Vegeta: *turns and comes down, ready to kick him further into the ground*
Goku: "Feeling the kicks, he yells out again as he is pounded farther and farther into the ground.
Vegeta: *lands and stands on top of him* Oh come now... you aren't going to let me walk all over you are you?
Goku: He lifts his legs up and grabs Vegeta's ankle with them, tripping him. As he falls, Goku gets up and kicks him in the gut. "No.. Hadnt planned on it.."
Vegeta: *flips back and lands*
Goku: Goku throws an uppercut at him as he starts to get up.
Vegeta: *grabs his wrist and throws him*
Goku: Almost expecting him to block the punch, Goku flips over Vegeta and sends a blast at his back.
Vegeta: *turns and throws a smaller blast to counter it as he fades to get away*
Goku: The two blasts collide and explode, but Goku throws a few punches through the smoke.
Vegeta: *blocking until he finds an opening and moves to the side, then forward, throwing a punch towards him*
Goku: The punch collides with Goku's face, but he does a thrust kick to his side, aiming for Vegeta's gut.
Vegeta: *gets hit as staggers back through the smoke*
Goku: Not wanting to rest for a moment, Goku flies through the smoke, grabbing vegeta's shirt and powering a blast in the same hand. While it powers up, he punches him repeatedly in the face, then lets the blast explode.
Vegeta: *kicks him in the chest trying to break free as the blast collides into him*
Goku: Staggering back from the kick, he takes another deep breath and raises his power level.
Vegeta: *flips back and lands as he starts throwing ki attacks at him him*
Goku: The first blast hits him in the chest, but he starts to deflect the others back to Vegeta.
Vegeta: *raises up his arms, creating a shield to deflect all the oncoming blasts*
Goku: Before he loweres his arms, Goku is next to Vegeta again, kneeing him in the chin.
Vegeta: *goes into the air and stops looking down at him*
Goku: He looks up and cracks a grin. "What are you doing way up there, Vegeta?"
Vegeta: *more calm* shut up...*trying to figure out what to do next*
Goku: Not realising it, but Goku is dong the exact same thing Vegeta is doing.
Vegeta: *swallows, tasting blood in his mouth*
Goku: "Alright... Get ready, Vegeta! This is the deciding blow!"
Vegeta: *narrows his eyes as he readies himself*
Goku: Goku powers up to his max at super saiyan three. "Suuuuper.....Kaaaaa...Meeeeeee....Haaaaaaa.....Meeeeee......" Before he finishes, he appears right behind Vegeta. "HAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Vegeta: *forms his hands together, focusing all the ki strength his has left into his palms as he focuses down at Kakarott waiting for the last minute only to find that Kakarott moves. He quickly turns, firing late* FINAL FLASH! *kakarott's own attack sending him to the ground as his weaker attack holds him from being hit* ...... ..JERK! *trying to push his attack towards Goku's*
Goku: The kamehameha wave continues toward Vegeta, pushing against his Final Flash...
Vegeta: *feels his feet indenting into the ground as he continues push his attack towards Kakarott*
Goku: Goku doesnt give up either.. the two blasts.. both incredibly powerful continued to move back and forth, but in the end the kamehameha wave gained a little ground on Vegeta.
Vegeta: *his own energy weaker he starts to feel his blast losing it's momentum* ... .. no... *tries to push it on further as it starts to move back regardless*
Goku: Continuing to push harder, Goku uses the energy he has left to give his blast a final push.
Vegeta: *the energy burns into his hands as he can no longer hold it, he is suddenly consumed by his blast and Kakarotts, sending him deep into the ground, cratering it out*
Goku: Powering down, Goku floats to the ground and reaches into the crater. He lifts Vegeta up and smiles. "Great fight, Vegeta. Cant wait for round two."
Vegeta: *opens one eye then forcefully pushes himself away from Goku, staggering a few paces back* shut.. .. up..
Goku: "Aww.. dont be like that, Vegeta. You were amazing!!"
Vegeta: *agitated*
Vegeta: *turns his back to him and crosses his arms trying not to look as weak and hurt as he feels*
Goku: Goku falls back and takes a really deep breath. "I dont know about you.. but Im beat!"
Vegeta: *doesn't respond*
Goku: well.. was I okay? I really enjoyed it
Vegeta: *low growl*
Goku: ^^
Vegeta: ...
Vegeta: *mumbles* I hate you.
Goku: Aww... it wasnt that bad...
Vegeta: *starts to walk away*
