Goku set the clothes down, “I have to be a demon in order to find Vegeta?”
The man looked at him then paused and sighed before responding dryly, “You’re not here for auditions are you?”
Goku laughed lightly, “Sorry. I guess there was a bit of a misunderstanding. I’m looking for a guy named Vegeta. He’s about this high,” Goku made the motion with his hand, “And he kind of looks like me but not really and…”
The man raised his hand for Goku to be quiet, “Listen pal, you can’t give me a description like that, no one in hell looks the same as they did before they came to hell. Why don’t we start over okay?”
“So you can help me?”
“Well not really, but I can move you in the right direction,” the man said as he walked out of the room, motioning for Goku to follow him.
As they walked down the hall, the man led Goku into another room full of equipment. He handed Goku a flashlight. Goku took it and looked at it questioningly, clicking it on and then off to make sure it worked.
“Now, tell me, when was your friend first admitted?” the man asked.
Goku looked up as if he was thinking then smiled and responded, “8 years ago.”
“So that would be 8 years ago other world time correct?”
“Other world time?” Goku asked looking at him.
“Yeah, you’re from planet Earth right?” The man said.
Goku nodded lightly, “Yeah.”
“Well we use the same concept of time as you would with Other World Time and Earth. The Earth runs on a separate time with Other World correct?”
“Yeah.”
“Well, Hell runs on a separate time with Other World as well. Since it’s been 8 years Other World time for you that would mean it’s been 800 years Hell time for us.”
“800!?” Goku exclaimed with a shocked look on his face.
The man nodded as he walked over to a door and opened it. He then pointed out the door and looked at Goku.
“Your friend will either be in the first stage or in the pit. You’ll have to go find him yourself. Just keep close to the creek. All the new ones are close to it. And watch out, demons don’t listen very well like we do out here,” the man said.
“Thanks a lot,” Goku said as he waved and walked out the door.
The door suddenly closed behind him and everything went dark. Goku looked around trying to see but he couldn’t. He then remembered he had the flashlight and turned it on. He looked down to see the creek and began following it, looking to the right and left trying to find Vegeta. Goku walked for a little bit before becoming very tired. Not only could he not see or hear anything but he was beginning to think it was getting hopeless. He hadn’t even seen one person yet.
As Goku walked he noticed his flashlight was dying so he turned it off. He decided he would just walk straight for a while. As he did he bumped into something and backed up. Turning on his flashlight Goku suddenly saw a body hanging upside down in front of him. Startled he backed up and then looked around to see more.
Goku looked at each of them feeling sorry that they were dead but glad that he was seeing some people. It was better than seeing nothing at all. He began going from body to body checking to see if he could find Vegeta and remembering to stay close to the creek. He yelled for Vegeta several times but his voice didn’t echo so yelling was a bit pointless and he stopped.

Meanwhile the dragging came to a halt as Vegeta opened his good eye again to see where he was. He didn’t recognize anything. Something went through his mind as Vegeta suddenly jerked his face to the left. He moved just in time to avoid a knife as the blade sliced through his right cheek rather than into his eye. The agitated demon that was trying to harm him pushed him. They made Vegeta stand up as he fought them off.
He then looked ahead, as he did his jaw dropped. Before him was a giant fiery pit. People were in there, they were screaming in pain and torment. One by one they were being thrown in and when they tried to climb out they were pushed back. Vegeta took a step back as the demons began pushing him towards the flames.
Realizing this was his chance he powered up and took off flying away from the pit. The demon watched him and then chased after him angrily. They appeared in front and around him and attacked him pinning him to the ground. Vegeta powered up trying to fight them back.
