Only after a few seconds of flying down did he stop. He realized that he could not hear nor see Bra anywhere.
Watching the scene the image laughed hotly at him. He then moved his hands to show the little girl was still in his grasp.
“Looking for this?” he asked with a devious grin.
Vegeta turned hearing the echo of voice and saw his daughter still in that things grasp. She was crying for her mother, gripping the image’s wrist as he held her forcefully by the collar of her shirt. It was then that Vegeta remembered.

“Kakarott…what…what are you doing??” Vegeta choked out.
‘He’s going to throw me back into hell,’ Vegeta thought.
He reached out and grabbed Image Goku’s shirt trying to plead with him to stop. He didn’t understand why Kakarott would save him only to throw him back.
“Kakarott…please…” Vegeta choked out.

Vegeta yelled in anger remembering what the image had done to him. The image just laughed as he made a motion with his hand. Vegeta shifted his eyes and then turned his head towards the two sides of the cliff. The cliff walls started to close.
“Vegeta!! Hurry up!” Goku yelled down at him.
Vegeta powered up and took off heading upward towards the surface. The ground became closer together as he got closer to the surface. The image laughed as he awaited the moment. Vegeta’s eyes burned desperation as he raised his hand out to the surface trying to reach before the ravine closed in on him. He was there; he was almost there when suddenly the ground sped up. The ravine closed with a giant crash just as Vegeta’s right arm had appeared above the ground. The arm jerked as the sound of snapping bones could be heard. Trunks quickly turned, burying his face into Piccolo’s clothing trying to block the image he had just seen. Kryllin and Goku looked away as well unable to grasp what had just happened. The fingers of the dead Saiyan relaxed as his entire arms went limp and fell over, having nothing to attach itself to anymore. There was a deadly silence over the area, almost as if the entire Earth was granting a moment for the Saiyan Prince himself.
