As Goku tried to argue his case and plead for Baba to take them to Earth, Vegeta focused his sights to the right. Not too far off stood the Path of Judgment. Tons of spirits floated on it, each one standing in line, waiting for the decision that would effect them in their afterlife. As Vegeta straighten himself up his stomach growled. He hadn’t eaten in a long time and it was finally catching up to him. He began walking towards the path when Goku suddenly placed a hand on his shoulder.
“C’mon Vegeta, Baba said she would take us now,” Goku said looking at him.
Unaware of Vegeta’s hunger, Goku drug him away from the Path of Judgment over to where Baba was waiting. Baba looked at both of them for a few minutes to judge their height and weight.
She then responded, “Both of you hold hands.”
Vegeta and Goku looked at her and then at each other. Vegeta immediately crossed his arms. He refused to ‘hold hands’ with Goku. Goku thought for a few minutes. He knew what Vegeta was thinking and he knew that he had to figure out a way to make the situation seem justifiable.
Goku then smiled, “How about we shake hands?”
As Goku offered his hand, Vegeta shifted his eyes to him and then nodded. He lowered his arms to his side and then took Goku’s hand as if he was going to “shake”. Once they were holding hands, Baba said a few words and the three of them disappeared from Other World.
They reappeared in front of the Capsul Corporation. Vegeta broke the handshake, wiping his hand on his shirt to show the world that he was not holding hands with Kakarott. Goku ignored it and walked over to thank Baba. She reminded him to be back at a certain time the next day. Goku nodded and then motioned for Vegeta to follow him as he walked towards the house.
However Vegeta’s sight had shifted to a nearby car accident. The two men had gotten out of their cars and were now yelling at each other, arguing over the carelessness of each other’s driving abilities. As if in a trance Vegeta shifted and walked over to them. He stood across the way as both men faced him.
“What the hell do you want?” one yelled to Vegeta angrily.
Without a response, Vegeta raised his hands up to them, his palms facing towards them. They looked at him angrily and began cursing at him to go away and mind his own business. Vegeta suddenly jerked his hands into fists and pulled them quickly to his side. As he did the souls of the two men flew from their bodies and hovered before him. About to indulge, Vegeta suddenly stopped by an arm that wrapped tightly around his neck. His hands opened, releasing the souls as they went back into the bodies of their owners. Vegeta shifted his eyes back to see Goku holding him in a choke hold. When he released the souls Goku let him go. Vegeta turned around and glared harshly at him.
“Bulma and Chi-chi will feed us when we get inside. Now c’mon,” Goku said calmly.
“Don’t tell me what to do,” Vegeta snapped and pushed passed him heading back towards the Capsul Corporation.
Goku sighed and followed him. They both walked up to the front door and paused. Goku and Vegeta looked at each other then nodded confidently to one another. Goku took off and floated up over the house heading to the backyard. Vegeta began to follow him, but found that he still didn’t have enough energy to do so. Instead he opened the door and went inside.
Vegeta walked in and began heading towards the backdoor when he stopped, hearing a growl from behind. He shifted his eyes back and then smirked upon seeing a dog growling hotly up at him.
“Figures they would get a pet after I left,” Vegeta said to himself with a smirk.
The dog continued to growl at him, bearing its teeth. Vegeta, tiring of this constant expression, glared back at the animal. The dog barked hotly a few times; attempting to frighten the Saiyan who was paying it no mind.
Shaking a finger at it, Vegeta responded, “Silence, don’t you know who rules over you?”
The dog growled at him and then quickly snapped at his finger. Vegeta jerked his hand back and glared at the animal. He then narrowed his eyes and turned, walking away to find someone who would give him more respect.
