Vegeta slowly opened his eyes after several hours had past to see Goku sitting on the side of his bed. He immediately reacted with a yell as he sat up. His reaction caught Goku off guard as he fell off of the bed and hit the floor.
“GET OUT OF MY ROOM!” Vegeta yelled as he felt himself to make sure he hadn’t been ‘violated’ in any way.
It was only after he said it did he realized that he was in his room. He narrowed his eyes at Goku. Goku stood up and looked at him a bit startled by his sudden outburst. Seeing Vegeta’s eyes looking at him coldly Goku quickly raised his hands to defend himself.
“Easy, easy, Vegeta, I didn’t do anything. I woke up and you were wet and cold so I brought you home. You had a fever. You know Vegeta you should’ve woke me up when you got there. I would have let you have my leaf,” Goku said.
Vegeta stared at him for a few minutes and then decided that Goku’s story was probably true. He sat there in bed and let out a sigh of relief. Goku looked at him and then returned to sitting on the side of his bed. Vegeta looked at him and was about to yell at him but stopped himself. Goku did not look at him as he folded his hands together and looked at the floor.
“Vegeta,” Goku started, “I’m really sorry about what happened yesterday.”
Vegeta looked at him waiting to hear more but there was no more. Goku just stopped. Goku didn’t know what else to say. He wasn’t sorry for telling Vegeta how he felt but he was sorry for attacking him the way he did. Goku wondered if Vegeta understood that but he didn’t ask feeling that Vegeta would just call him stupid and tell him to leave. There was a silence in the room for a little bit as Vegeta sat there, Goku sitting at the side of his bed.
Finally Vegeta spoke up quietly, “I know.”
Vegeta was actually responding to Goku’s statement about the leaf but it didn’t seem that way at all. Goku looked at him and smiled faintly to lighten the mood. Vegeta gave him the same looked he always did when Goku smiled. Goku then reached up and placed his hand on Vegeta’s forehead to check his temperature. He expected Vegeta to jerk away and yell but Vegeta didn’t move.
“You are still hot, maybe you should take another nap,” Goku suggested.
Goku went to remove his hand but as he did Vegeta reached up and grabbed his wrist. Goku stared at him blankly as he watched Vegeta slowly pull his wrist down and hold it. He looked at Goku as the younger Saiyan just gave him a confused stare. Their eyes met as they stared at each other in silence almost as if they were reading one another’s mind in private conversation. Goku then smiled softly at Vegeta as he leaned in and pressed a kiss against his cheek. Vegeta closed one eye as he felt Goku’s lips brush against his skin, his other eye watching him. He closed his eyes as Goku slowly began to place kisses against his skin moving from his cheek to his jaw line and then to his neck.
Vegeta dropped his grip from Goku’s wrist and raised his hands to his chest as he tried to push him away. Goku could feel the push but he knew Vegeta and it wasn’t a push to tell him to stop. Goku gently ran his tongue along Vegeta’s neck, tasting his skin. He could feel Vegeta tensing so he stopped and leaned over to him, gently pressing himself against Vegeta’s hands.
“We don’t have to do anything Vegeta, not until you are ready,” Goku whispered into his ear.
Vegeta opened his eyes hearing Goku’s response and turned his head to look at him. He narrowed his eyes as Goku smiled at him.
“Who said I would ever be ready to do anything with you?!” Vegeta snapped.
He continued but Goku covered his mouth. Vegeta looked at him trying to show he was angry and unwilling. Goku removed his hand as he leaned in and kissed Vegeta. Vegeta returned his kiss as he felt Goku’s tongue running along his lips. He opened his mouth feeling Goku’s tongue slide along his own as they became locked in a passionate embrace. Goku pulled Vegeta against him as he broke the kiss and smiled.
“Kakarott…” Vegeta said trying to sound threatening in order to control himself from doing anything he would regret.
Goku just smiled as he pressed his cheek against Vegeta’s, “What do you want Vegeta?”
Vegeta didn't answer as Goku kissed him again, both of them falling into each other's desires.
