Hire an artist! Currently, Jason Sorrell is accepting commissioned work, and we are experimenting with this process before opening it up to our other artists (although TC Downey may have his own commissions structure at Fear the Beast). You can commission work from Mr. Sorrell in one of two ways:

Traditional Commissions

This is the process for those patrons who have a very specific request or need, including commercial applications.

1) Have a concept you would like rendered.

2) Understand that you are hiring Jason Sorrell, an artist with a particular style and genre-focus. Is his style of work what you are looking for?

3) Contact Mr. Sorrell at jason@creativeodditiesstudios.com with the following pieces of information:

-Your concept.

-What you need the work for (tattoo design, logo, personal, etc). Designs for commercial applications (logos, advertisements, etc) are more expensive than designs for private owners because the artist relinquishes intellectual rights to the artwork to the buyer.
-Preferred format (digital, hard-copy, size requirements).
-Your budget (if you have one... Mr. Sorrell will send you his bid if a budget is not included).
-Date that you need the work by (if applicable).

4) Mr. Sorrell will respond with any questions he might have to clarify your concept and your requirements and confirm whether or not he can accept the commission (time constraints or budget issues are the most common reasons he does not accept a commission. Rarely is a commissioned denied due to content issues).

5) If the terms are agreed and the commission accepted, you will be asked to make a payment either via Paypal or US post (check or money order). The commission will be started once the funds are received (check's cleared, etc). The commission may also require a contractual agreement between the artist and the buyer.

6) Up to three revisions are allowed at no additional charge. Afterward revisions are an additional fee specific to the commission agreement.

7) All sales are final.

Drawings List

This is the method for individuals who simply want artwork by Jason Sorrell and/or a tattoo design. These pieces are for personal use and not to be used for commercial purposes.

-If the concept includes 'human' figures, no more than 3 figures per drawing.

-$30.00 US for pencil sketches/ $50.00 US for inked drawings. -Each commission on the list is a black-and-white no larger than 8 and 1/2 by 11 inches.
-You will get a full-page scan of your image at 300dpi.
-If you would also like the drawing mailed to you, there is an additional $20 fee. Shipping and handling is included.
-No revisions. All sales are final.
-The time to complete a commission form the list will vary, but is generally no more than 4 weeks.
-No more than 10 commissions will be accepted at a time and placed on the list. The list will be re-opened when all the pieces on the list are completed. When the list is open, the following image will be displayed on the main page of the Creative Oddities Studios site:
