Warm Weather in the Winter Sucks!!

Today is about 50 degrees in Milaca, MN. I hate it when it gets this warm in the winter. Why can't it just stay cold for a few months and then warm up in the Spring?
We have only one ice skating rink in our town and it is not all that well maintained. When we get a few days like we are now having it gets mushy and never gets repaired.
Have you ever tried playing hockey on soft ice? Have you ever tried playing hockey when you have to keep moving or risk your skates sinking in the ice? This sucks!!
I absolutely love winter...that is why I live in Minnesota. If I wanted crappy weather in the winter I'd move back to South Carolina.
