Life is a Beautiful Thing

Life is a beautiful thing.

As human beings we have the potential to make any thing of it that we want to. But that potential is smothered by the oppressive society that yields to an offensive government.

We are continually being told by our friends, by our family, our society and even our own government what to do, and what not to do.

Our lives are not toys, our lives are not characters in a video game, or puppets on a string. Yet, we are treated like they are.

From the earliest age, we are shoved into the virtual assembly line which is the public school system.

We are told when to walk, when to talk, when to go to the bathroom, eat, etc.

We are told what is fact and what is fiction. We are told what is truth, and what is a lie, what is good and what is evil.

From the earliest ages, we are squeezed and molded until we fit into what society thinks is the right size and shape.

But who gave society the right to mold us? Who gave society the right to chose who we are?

Who gave everybody but ourselves the right to make our decisions for us?

We did.

In every action made to fit into the already too-imperfect puzzle, we give up our rights as individuals.

In every action made just for the sake of fitting in, we remove our own right as individuals.

We give up our lives when we do this. We say to society: Yes, you can tell me what to do.

Yes, you can decide my every thought and action, my every whim and motive.

Just as long as you make me fit in, as long as my life resembles what is accepted as the ideal. As long as I am seen as something great, I will give in.
