| President’s Report: | Decision put forth to cancel the May trip to Fort Macleod and have a golfing day at Paradise Canyon. All in attendance were in favour, so motion passed. |
|
A reminder that elections for President, Vice President, Social director, and SGT. at arms/Membership director will happen in the first part of next year. The position of Secretary, Treasurer, and Education Director was motioned to stay the same for the next year; all in attendance in favour, so motion passed. There was also a nomination made by Joe Henke that Kenny Kain and Todd Bevan be the SGT. of Arms/Membership director; Anthony Kish 2nd motion. All in attendance in favour, so motion passed. |

Doug Overes is still participating for a position on Team Alberta which goes to Luxemburg in November. We will be notified when we can look at the plates that he has prepared. Good luck to you Doug. |

| The National convention being held in Vancouver is going to be attended by Doug Overeas on our behalf. | |

Our HOST for the evening was “The Lethbridge Golf and Country Club”. Thank-you for your hospitality, everything was great. A special thanks for opening just for us. |

| Vice President’s Report: |
The Presidents Dinner was a big success. We raised about 4-5 thousand dollars. Next meeting we will be told how much is going to the charity. |

| Treasurer’s Report: | A reminder that invoices need to be mailed out for the dues and a general question as to exactly how we are doing financially. Next meeting we will have an idea. |
| Education Director’s Report: |
Charles mentioned that the Baking program is still a go. So anyone interested must get signed up or it will be cancelled due to lack of interest. |
| Budget cuts have not effected us to much, other than our certificate programs will be going to 2, 16 week programs. | |

| A national convention for WATS is being put on in Vancouver and we were asked to submit a CD of our program and its success. So Richard Dailey, Debbie Clauss, Rob Sonnenberg, and Stan from the apprenticeship office were interviewed for this. | |
| Just a note that Jacob is off to the Apprenticeship competition in Calgary this year. Good luck to him. | |
| Old News: | Doug motioned that a description of each executive position is designed and put into effect. This was 2nd by Charles Parker, all in attendance were in favour and so motion was passed for Doug to put this together. |
| The Cake and Confection Show in May in Surrey, and questions please see Doug Overes. | |
| Todd Bevan suggested that a booklet be put together the would tell new members what we can do for them. Good idea, slated to be discussed more after the executive descriptions are put together. | |
