To Dice or Not to Dice

A brief note on dice and sparring.... It is expected if you are in a one on one spar that you drop your dice to even out the playing field and make it more fair, this is not mandatory though severely recommended. How would it look for a 2d40 to be taken on by a 2d75? Bad, simply lower it to matched sides 2d40 to 2d40 and go from there.

Also, for those who dislike the use of dice and find them appalling, this kingdom sees dice only as a guide line and to be used by those people comfortable with such. So if you prefer role-playing and sparing without dice ... do such. But we do have rules for such, each match has a time limit that must be added to logs and then logger must state time of open and closed logs.

Spars: 15 to 20 minutes tops.
Honor Matches: 20 to 45 minutes.
Release Matches 20 to 45 minutes.
Group Matches: 45 minutes to an 2 hours.
Death Matches: None, these will be done with dice and by Kingdom rules only.

These must be logs with time of opening time, reason (for honor or realize matches), opponents, winner and the end time. The experience award is the same for dice or without (meaning you can get more for great description and role-playing where warranted).

Enchanted Weapons

You may ask if we have "+ Weapons" these are called "enhanced" for they have two effects. One is they will give you an addition to dice when activated (+1-+5) and these are rare and must be purchased. Though a few exceptions are made, all Royals carry an Enhanced Weapon if they wish. And the second is a power (which is used when SIMming) is a neat power or effect it has when activated. To activate the weapon you must state is name and effect/dice for example...

::Ivy draws Phantasm the fabled blade of nightmares from its scabbard and bringing it down slashes deeply into the shoulder of his foe:: (Phantasm, +5 & Power of Destruction.)

Before you can purchase or Acquire one, a proposal of what the blade looks like and does will be submitted to the prince and he will approve or decline then deduct the cost of the weapon (see price list, for how much the cost) and each weapon of such gets
"name."

Thank you for your time and reading this document. I would also like to thank, the man who created this thing so long ago Jayrod (currently ChrissaneRCecil). Without him, this would never have been written (or modified so much). Anyway, have fun and any comments or critiques are welcomed.
