Something has changed.
Yesterday I believed in something
today is different.
Yesterday I believed in dreaming
but now I see
that I haven’t had a dream
that didn’t die
in the light of reality.
No dreams are forever.
Sooner or later
it’s time to wake up
and face reality.
A dream
is but a wish of the heart.
Not all wishes come true.

Years go by
Slowly
But looking back
where have my life gone.
Just a passing second
to bring me to this point
another passing second
and it’ll all be over.
Did I spend my life
looking back
remembering
and not looking ahead
living?
So much time spend
looking over my shoulder
at what’s behind.
Time
just wasted.
The thought
runs through my mind.
I know it is the truth!
