RE: Homework - Our Board recommends an average of 10 minutes of homework per grade per night for students. So a grade 7 student should be doing about an hour of homework nightly. This will vary depending on how well class time was spent during the day, upcoming assignments, studying for tests, attendance, etc... For more information: OCSDB Homework Policy



Extra help is most often available at lunch. If your child has been away, is struggling or would like to continue working on something encourage them to find a teacher who is available.

Our student dress policy focuses on:

a) Respect for learning
b) Decency
c) Cleanliness ie. Not wearing muddy outer footwear in class, etc...
d) Respect for the rights & dignity of others
e) Safety of persons & property
f) Promotion of a drug / alcohol-free environment.
