STANLEY CUP CHAMPS 2001!
all i have to say is WHAT THE FUCK?
how the fuck did colorado pull that shit off?
i know they are a good team and all but they barely got past the felix potvin kings (i know its l.a kings but lets face it that hockey team road potvin harder then shaq rides white bitchez). if colorado didnt have forsberg in the kings series l.a would be with the cup garenteed. new jersey fucking blew that series bigtime, it was sad to. but i guess they deserved to lose! why ? because they chose to put martin brodeur in net when john vanbiesbrouck is in my opinion by far the better goalie! sure "the beezer" didnt have that great of a year , but thats cause 3/4 of the season he play for the islanders (for all that dont know the islanders fucking suck ass and their GM mike milbury is a fucking retard who doesnt know how to put together a decent team). "the beezer" did infact tie the devils in back to back games 0-0 and 1-1 while playing for the islanders late in the season. another reason why the devils blew it is they played bitch hockey and did not show any heart. if they hadda played the way they played colorado when they were against toronto it would have been toronto playing for the cup! new jersey started of this years playoffs hitting hard , playing great defence style hockey, and they did not take to many penaltys. thats the way they beat carolina, toronto, and pittsburgh. sure they only got alota bullshit penalty minutes in the finals because the league and its officials rigged the games in colorado's favor to see that washed up bum Ray Bourque win the cup(its true, its true,we all know it).
the league being biast to colorado is still no reason for the devils to stop hitting though. when they played the leafs it was an all out battle the devils worked hard as fuck to win that series, but in colorado they didnt do shit. when u play a team like colorado u hafta hit hard and hit often or else your fuct. if u go up against that team and play pussy european style no hitting hockey colorado will fuck u up! and thats just what they did to new jersey!
anyways thats enough of my opinion, heres the game scores and a sad story that i got from some other hockey site!

Colorado wins Stanley Cup 4-3
Three cheers for Beezer:
While Ray Bourque is celebrating a successful end to his 22-year Stanley Cup quest, goaltender John Vanbiesbrouck is ending his 19-year career.
Vanbiesbrouck, who turns 38 in September, confirmed after Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals he will retire. He admitted he probably could continue playing but questioned his effectiveness if he did.
sadly, there were no victory parades for Vanbiesbrouck, an outstanding goaltender who never got to raise the Cup. He was the starting goalie for the Florida Panthers in their surprising 1996 run to the finals and warmed a spot on the Devils bench this year. He was traded by the Rangers a year before their 1994 Cup victory, after having spent all or part of 11 years with them.
We'll remember him as "the Beezer," a Vezina Trophy winner in 1985-86, the same season in which he was an NHL postseason first-team All-Star. He was a postseason second-team All-Star in 1993-94 and was twice named TSN's postseason first-team All-Star goalie. He also played in three All-Star games.
Vanbiesbrouck won 372 games while playing for the Rangers, Panthers, Flyers, Islanders and Devils. He started this season with the Islanders and was traded to the Devils so he could have a chance at winning the Stanley Cup.
