Welcome to the official website of Jack Hensley, a freelance videograher and mobile DJ. He specializes in in the videotaping and editing of weddings, parties, theatrical productions, commencement ceremonies, sporting events, and short films.
On all of Jack's wedding videos, you will see the wedding Mass or ceremony at the church or hall, the exiting/toast outside to the limo, the introductions at the reception, the special dances (first dance of the couple, dances with the parents, etc.), the Best Man and Maid/Matron of Honor toasts, the cake cutting, the bouquet toss, the garter belt toss, and, of course, plenty of dancing and anything else that may go on during the event.
If requested, Jack could also go around to the tables and have the guests give their well-wishes to the bride and groom. Again, if requested, he could film the bride and groom getting ready for the wedding.
Jack's filming style is time-tested and works well. For a wedding or a church event, he will have at least one camera located in the front of the church. An additional camera will be located in the back of the church, usually in the choir loft; this allows for a wider view of the event. From these angles, everything is covered, and almost nothing is missed.
For receptions, he also utilizes a multi-camera production technique. Combined, the different angles will assure you that every important moment is captured.
Of course, after all is recorded, the different angles are edited together into a final video package. The editing programs used by Jack are Avid XPress DV, Final Cut Pro Studio 2, and Pinnacle Studio Ultimate.
As an added bonus to your wedding DVD, Jack also includes a video montage of your wedding day, which he sets to the song of your choice. This montage is posted online on Vimeo.com, and you can view some samples below.
On top of shooting weddings, Jack also specializes in the filming of all types of parties, theatrical plays, commencement ceremonies, church events, documentaries, sporting events, and short films.
He also can transfer old VHS tapes, Hi8 / Digital8 camcorder tapes, and MiniDV tapes to DVD discs, and he can make video montages of your still photos and add background music of your choice.
Jack is also a mobile disc jockey. He is able to bring the party to you with a mobile DJ set-up!
