Last House on the Left

The movie that made Wes Craven famous (cough cough). But seriously, this movie was an off-beat thriller about a gang that kills two girls. At times, the movie almost seemed like a comedy. There was a huge twist later on, in which the gang is morooned at one of the victims parent's house. The movie was pretty slow until this point, but it picked up quickly. This was a very odd film; pretty unique to anything that I've seen so far. Give it a chance, because it's not that terrible. 2.5 out of 5.

Characters

• Mari: Celebrates her birthday by going out with her best frined. Make the mistake of trusting a man with Billy-Bob teeth. Raped and shot.
• Phyllis: Meri's best friend. Brutally stabbed and killed.
• Krug: The leader of the gang, I guess because he has the biggest fro. Becomes kindling by a chainsaw.
• Weasel: Another member of the gang. Gets his penis bitten off and presumed dead.
• Sadie: The whore of the gang. Throat slit.
• Junior: Drug addict who wants to do the right thig. Blows his brains out.
• William & Estelle Collingwood: Parents who pop a cap into the gang who killed their daughter.
• The Sheriff & Deputy: the comedy relief for the movie. About the dumbest police force I've ever seen.
