Children of the Corn

I read the short story by Stephen King years ago, and I liked it a lot. Normaly, I don't ever watch a movie based on a book that I've read, but this was an exection. I had heard lots of good things about it, so I gave it a shot. It was not disappointing. The movie starts out with children massacuring a town full of adults. Fast forward a year, and the children have formed their own society lead by a boy named Isaac, who receives his orders from 'The One Who Walks Behind the Rows.' Very creepy. The mood that was set in the movie was terrific. It was a ghosttown with the exception of children lurking in the shadows. Another thing I really dug was all of the corn-stalks sticking out of everyplace imaginable, like door frames, cars, and windows. Very cool. I deem this movie a 4.5 out of 5.
