this is for the unfortunate soul who recieved, quite possibly, the worse job in all of neopia. i do hope you are prepared to handle this job and everything that comes with it. know now that there are no rewards, no gratitude, no appreciation, no acknowledgement for what you do. you are the enforcer, you make sure the rules are followed, that people do not take advantage of the guild, that people dont try to make themselves exceptions to the rules, especially the ones about ranking. many times youll find yourself in a rather tough situation, especially with people like careem who come back for the sole pleasure of torturing others in the guild. try not to let them get to you. i did and look where it got me. you could become quite hated but its something you've got to handle quietly. from experience i know that rosie, bev, and sj are great to complain to behind the scenes. they are beautiful, kind people who will help you to the best extent that they can. you may always go to them for advice and help, or if you just want to talk. they kept my faith in the guild alive. many people will ask for more than they give and they get overbearing but i'm sure you'll be able to handle them fine. mackie has never really had rules in the guild. we dont allow spamming or cheats and those messages are deleted immediately. i also tend to delete messages which call new members "noobs or n00bs". it is a degrading term and i dont like it. regarding ranking, THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULES. i cannot stress this enough. some people try to get away with being moved up before they deserve it stating that "they dont care about the free items, they just want to be moved up". if that is the case, then surely they can wait the couple of days more to meet the requirements set by the guild. they must, i stress must be a member for two weeks before they can be moved up from ehness. they also must post a message on the guild board. this is to ensure activeness on their part. to move from goodness to greatness it requires more than just big donations. in fact, donations have never counted much in my decision to move someone up. it all depends on longevity and loyalty to the guild. if the member has shown that they are dedicated to the guild and its members, then they deserve to be moved up. IF SOMEONE LEAVES THE GUILD THEY DO NOT GET THEIR RANK BACK. that defies the whole point of longevity and loyalty to the guild. they start over as a new member and must wait the two week period before they are considered again for the ranking. this is stated clearly in the FAQ but most people dont bother to read it. if someone complains, just send them to the FAQ and tell them that it has been the policy of the guild's for awhile. more than once i've moved someone up to a high ranking before they deserved it because they begged and whined and i didnt want to get into an arguement with them. all 4 times, they have left the guild leaving bitter feelings behind and making me want to leave the guild even more. it is not from my immature, mean character that i make these policies, it's because i've learned from experience that these rules are needed. if you know HTML, you may fix up the extension site and put it back up. the log stuff is ego/helpforeverybody2. p-thingie is dynasty14 i think.. i used my own aol space to put all the pictures and banners for the guild up so that it could be shared. at this time i have deleted everything from my servers and you'll have to find a new place to host them. the two guild accounts i leave in your care. well maybe only one. i cant remember the info for helpforeverybody right now. all the money is in help4everybodysite. i will give rosie the info for it and if she doesnt want to take care of the account and bev doesnt want it or dee doesnt want it, it's yours. taking care of the guild accounts is very easy. if money is going low, ask the guild members to donate a little. subtle messages dont work with them. i know through many sad experiences. most of the money in the accounts is for prizes. it's your job to find prizes people will want to win and make some fun games for them to play. if any of the guild accounts are running low on money, just buy something from their shop. i usually give them 10000 np. every once in awhile i ask for all the shopkeepers to neomail me with an update on themselves and the accounts to make sure everything is okay and ask if they need anything. i usually dont thank members for their donations only because i sometimes forget and then they get mad. if i thank no one, it shows no favoritism. you have to be careful about that. people will accuse you of playing favorites. i believe that's it. i'm sorry for sticking you with this job. you'll see soon enough it's not nearly as fun as you'd imagine. the power thing is cool though. if you ever need my help, i can be contacted at che3searific@hotmail.com. goodbye and goodluck. you'll need it.
