Common Words of our Diversities
These are stories written by one of our teachers, C.L.Woods.
While we are all unique in our own selves, there is that part of us that must recognize the commonality in our diversity, especially when we speak of religion.
This commonality has sometimes been called the Golden Thread, and is a celebration of what the ancient Celts called “The Rightness of Things.” The points on the Golden Thread are values common to all paths that seek the Light – Enlightenment – Transcendence – whatever the term used to indicate the godhead within us all.
In this webpage we will seek to introduce some of these common values one at a time where each should be read, delved into, and comprehended before moving on to the next.
Understand now, and be aware of the fact that what this small list presents cannot be the entire list, just some of the more important ones in our own opinion. The order in which they appear is also subject to other’s interpretation as well. In a realm where all is subject to personal whim, then – please feel free to consider this just another point on the eternal wheel of learning and teaching and relearning.
