15TH-DYNASTY
[cap. Avaris] contemporary with last part of 13TH DYNASTY & first part of 14th Dynasty (above)--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
note: The names of the kings of the 15th & 16th dynasties, the "Hyksos" [= "foreign", or "shepherd"], i.e., the "Hebrews", are combined Semitic & Egyptian names. It looks like most of the Hyksos Kings added an Egyptian name to their own Semitic personal name. The kings of the 15th-Dynasty & 16th-Dynasty [Lower Egypt] were Hebrew [Hyksos] chieftains, which dynasty was contemporary with Egypt's native 14th-Dynasty [Upper Egypt]; the 15th Dynasty ended in an heiress, who was the ancestress of the 16th Dynasty whose kings were Hebrew [Hyksos] chieftains. The name of one 16th Dynasty pharaoh was Yakob-Hor which is the Hebrew name "Jacob" combined with the Egyptian name "Hor". The Hyksos 16th-Dynasty [Lower Egypt] was contemporary with the native 17th Dynasty [Upper Egypt], which drove out the Hyksos [= Hebrews], and those that remained behind the native Egyptians reduced into slavery, called ISRAEL's "Egyptian Bondage". The Hebrews were not slaves the whole time of their sojourn in Egypt, but only the last 200 years of their 400 year sojourn in Egypt.

note: the conjecture that Cleopatra, the daughter of Julius Caesar and Queen Cleopatra, may be identified with Cleopatra of Jerusalem is based on these primary points:
(a) that Queen Cleopatra was about three months pregnant upon Caesar's assassination;
(b) the child was born posthumously, of course; (c) it was a girl, but her name is not given in any modern source;
(d) that she was alive in 30BC - age about fourteen; (e) since she was not a threat to Octavius Augustus, she was married-off to "an obscure eastern prince";
(f) from that point onwards what follows is conjecture - that is - the identity of this "obscure eastern prince";
(g) that she is to be identified with Cleopatra of Jerusalem, king herod's fifth wife, is based on the supposition that king Herod only made political or dynastic marriages;
(h) the parentage of Cleopatra of Jerusalem is not recorded in any modern writings, which seems odd - however - it maybe recorded in some ancient writing yet to be discovered;
(i) what makes her a likely candidate to be identified with Cleopatra of Jerusalem are the legends of the Holy Family in Egypt - there must be some reason for the Egyptian priests to have presented Egypt's royal regalia to the Holy Family, but why? - surely, they would have done so unless they knew something that we don't know, which is that Cleopatra of Jerusalem was the mother of St. Joseph, Jesus' foster-father;
(j) there are other factors that would tend to identify Caesar's & Cleopatra's daughter with Cleopatra of Jerusalem, such as the political situation in 30BC - Judea was an active ally of Rome and had royalty, unlike Syria which was occupied by Rome and its royal house had been dispossessed - too, King Herod sided with Octavius Augustus against his old ally Mark Anthony, putting him in Rome's favor.

35TH DYNASTY
, or DYNASTY "Z"01. JESUS
, EGYPT's LAST PHARAOH, c 1BC/AD1The case for Jesus to have been "the last Pharaoh of Egypt" may be entertained based on the legends that the Holy Family was presented with the royal regalia of Egypt's ancient pharaohs by the Egyptian priests during their three-year sojourn in Egypt. But, why? Very likely, the Egyptian priests knew that the daughter of Egypt's Queen Cleopatra was none other than Cleopatra of Jerusalem, the mother of St. Joseph, Jesus' foster-father, whom they very possibly considered be the legal heir to the Egypt's throne! Incredible as it may seem, but quite possibly true! [Hosea 11:1b "…out of Egypt have I [God] called my son [Jesus]."]
