Rules of the Reign of Destruction (Incomplete)

DBT is often imitated, but never duplicated.
I hope you enjoy your time on the site!

  • My Staff:
Do not piss my staff off, do as they say, when they, how they say. If you feel you are being treated unfairly post a complaint and i will deal with it asap. You can also talk to Zero Tolerance who is in charge of the staff. Special note, i can't speak for my staff but i DF do not..repeat DO NOT teach people html, so if you ask me and i don't answer or tell you no.........you know why!!!!!!

  • Sitemasters and Clone Makers, and Clone Players:
I do not normally allow sitemasters (of dbz rpgs) to play on my site, because it leads to cloning, and backstabbing, if i know ahead of time i might make an exception (it will have to be DF approved) but it is rare. Clone makers will be banned for life. Clone players who join these clone sites be aware when i find out, you will get booted. I do reserve the right to make exceptions when i feel like it, but doubtful. Also if you happen to know of clone sites, and inform me or my staff, you will be rewarded with stats, or cash, or rpp (and for please dont bother to clone my site then turn it in and say look, i found a clone site, because we always find out in the end and i will wait until you get incredible stats and then kick you off the site)!!!!!!! Special Note: i do not ban people for quitting, or joining another site, most people are banned when they decide to vent their frustration out and cross the line to 1 of my members, staff or myself on the boards.......so please remember this is just a game, please do not take any trash talking personally!!!

  • Site Max Totals (before transforming):
Just so you know where the madness stops, if you ever make it this far.. the totals are as follows:
    pl - 400,000,000
    sp - 300,000,000
    ki - 1,000,000,000
    hp - 800,000,000
    inv - 300,000,000
    spr - 500,000,000
    sk - 850,000,000
    psi - 850,000,000
    bf - 850,000,000

  • joining:
Start by telling me if your character is male or female, good or evil, and some races have a choice of where they start, you will need to check the race pages for info on that. I will also need a valid email address where i can get in contact with you, if you don't want to give it out even to me, then you can not join.

  • The Stats:
On this site there are 9 individual battle stats to keep [pl, sp, ki, hp, inv, spr, psi, bf, sk,]. Before you ask...no, not every race has every stat, just 2 races have them all [Shadows and the Titans]. All races have pl, sp, hp, inv, sk, rpp...and then some combo of the energies used on dbt.

pl - power level is your overall strength you have to attack and inflict damage, and it is 1 of the stats that allows you to qualify to perform certain moves. This stat is also key to being able to status your opponents in battle, this stat must be higher than your opponents' inv.

sp - speed is what allows you to attack first, and evade moves, or even allow a sneak attack, or allow the twighlight attacks, and especially helpful with evade and counter arts as well as allow you to enter into Hyper Speed Combat!

ki - the first and most basic energy you have to perform moves such as blasts, combos, specials and so on, also without this you won't qualify for too many moves, it also can be used to boost some stats when transformed (burn all your ki and the amount burned will be added to one of your transformed stats + 1/4 of the original ki value as well..1 time per battle) or even extend the transformation 3 times per battle.

hp - health points is how much life you have left in you to battle, when it reaches 0 battle is over, unless you have an item or spell that allows your restoration.

inv - invincibility is the damage protection, and status protection you have, note: this is extremely important! This is also a natural defense from damage, and this allows you to land on certain planets and keeps some moves from being done against you completely.

spr - 2nd type of energy primarily used for magic attacks and transformations, spr abilities, and other moves, as well being used for certain quests.

***sk - skill is new to dbt, this stat is needed to qualify for certain quests, and moves. This stat will also determine how many times you can pull a certain move off, or how many times you can repeat a certain type of training, as well as if you can wear certain armors or wield certain weapons, and where you will rank in the tourny. It will determine the total number of moves over the site maximum you are allowed. When you reach 15,000,000sk you will be able to select an extra 3 moves, at 20mill 5 moves, at 25mill 10 moves, at 30 mill and above...15 moves. Skill counts greatly in site evaluations when the time comes. Also in signature moves the total skill you possess will be added in as special damage when you fire the move at your opponent(s). Special Note: (sk has another important function...and that is to act as your limitation as far as how many moves in a single turn you can pull off.....you can not exceed your sk level while performing moves, in the same turn...ex. You do 2 attacking moves, but if both of those moves sk exceed your sk level then you will only have managed to perform the first move if you did indeed have the sk for it)..

***psi - 3rd type of energy, psionics are new to dbt, this energy is a powerul offensive force that can be used to add damage onto regular arts as well as qualify you for a brand new set of attacks (when you boost regular arts with psi you burn all your psi). Some races do not have and can not ever use this type of energy (so check the race pages for more info). This energy can also be used defensively, or both offensively and defensively at the same time. Psi is registered as damage right off from an opponent's hp without being thought of as a status, to a foe when you are being held by an opponent's [hold] type move, this is known as psi simple blast damage and can be done 3x a battle. This energy is so important because you can attack your opponent with this kind of energy with your mind, even during their turn (so long as you have not been statused, or the move says it effects your mind), psi attacks are known to break or greatly lessen physical blows as well as holds and chain combos....***PSI can be used to cut the damage done from chain combos in half 2x a battle and from [physical] type moves by 3/4 2x a battle (will burn all of your psi when this is done and must have a minimum of 3/4 original psi), if you pick a race that has it, power it up to the max!

***bf - 4th type of energy, battle factor is new to dbt, this is a powerful defensive and offenseive energy mostly used in twighlight attacks, that can be used to absoluetly destroy your opponents and against some moves, lowers special damage involved in the attack against you. Again, not every race will have battle factor and if they do not start with it, they will never have it. Bf wipes out special damage on a move...ex you may have 2,000,000bf in battle, and someone does a blast that has 2,000,000 special damage, when it is calculated the move against you will have 0 special damage! Half of your original bf will also count as emergency life, when your hp reaches 1hp, 1/2 current bf will become your hp and at this point all energy sources will become restored by 1/2! (This is known as bf conversion, and only works 2x per battle, after that no bf conversion can take place).

    Non Battle Stats:

cash - you know what this is, you use this to purcahse items for battle or training.

credits - this is the currency used for buying ships only and the extras that ships can obtain. Earned by fighting in tournaments (winning obviously gives you more), site evals, artifacts, gifts from me, dball wishes, and for every 100 wins you get 500,000 credits bonus.

rpp - twighlight role playing points, these points are awarded by me, each week to everyone, wich will allow you to obtain certain items either in the store or on certain worlds, these items CAN NOT be purchased with money, the points will be handed out based on how active you are, who you fought, wins, and ability to talk trash (not offensive talk but game talk).

  • Site behavior:
Never use offensive language (profanity, sexiest, racist etc.) Do not impersonate people. And lastly if you fight but dont train, and fight but don't post battle results......i consider this a scam, and i will drop your character in a heartbeat.

  • Starting Point:
When you start off in the rpg you might be on a planet (depending on what race you select) or you will be in the nzone, which is basically a large asteroid field, that have large asteroids with breathable atmospheres inside. Gravity in the nzone is 0x so thats 100pl 100sp each session.

  • Updates:
Must be done weekly on saturday, and you have until midnight/early sunday to complete it. If for some reason you can not make the deadline, email me or post the reason and i will extend that time for you, so remember notify me before the deadline expires! If you don't do an update all the info from the prior week will be disregaurded, and you must reset to whatever the member pages have for you! Do not cry to me about you not being updated...because if your math is right, and you actually did all the things you say you did, you will be updated. If there is some mistake you need to clear up a simple message on the questions comments and complaints board will go along way towards fixing any problem! So here is what i need to see when you do a saturday update (basically give all the info from the prior week, starting from sunday, then monday, tuesday, wednesday, thrusday, friday, and ends on saturday midnight). Do not get upset if it takes me or my staff a week or longer to update, sometimes the real world can ruin the best laid plans, so just chill....it's all good!

  • Activity/Inactivity:
You can only do regular training, or special training, or special dead training, or meditation, or sparring, or questing, or move training a day. One type of training, or a quest, a day (you can train and fight in the same day...and yes i now allow you to train after battle for convenience sake).

Those that have teammates or squadmates that are inactive...you are not allowed to use their items in anyway. Whenever a member is gone from the site for 7 days or longer without making any kind of posts they are inactive. If they post a training post, update, battler result, or a cashier post at least once during those 7 days then i will consider them active. I know from experience that sometimes work, school, life, women...can take free the majority of your free time. This rule has no longer has any hold on my staff, They do not need to make any number of posts in order for me to consider them active, staff is always to be viewed as active unless they post otherwise (yes this is unfair but the staff is the least likely to try to run a scam, sorry but it's the truth)!

  • Before You Travel Get a Training Dome or Training Chamber:
Be aware you can not land on any planet that has a higher gravity than you are used to (gravitrons only help when that planet does not have an unv requirement). Some planets have an inv requirement and even if you are used to the gravity you will still need to have that requirement or you can not go there. Gravitrons can not be used on planets without a training dome.

  • Regular training:
You can not do regular training and special training in the same day. Sparring and meditation are forms of regular training. You can do regular training and fight the same day.

If you start in the nzone of this rpg then gravity there is 0x which = 100pl 100sp with no items, or chants, spell, etc. When you have trained in the same gravity for 10 days it increases a level (if you have a gravitron, because planet's gravity does not change and you would like to use a gravitron on a planet you need a training dome/training chamber) so 0x would go to 10x = 150pl 150sp (each time it goes up you add 50pl 50sp). If you have any confusion a table is up on the gravity guide board! You can not go up in gravity without a gravitron or being on a planet that has gravity or some type of weapon with it's own gravity, and when you do so, you still must go through all levels..meaning 0x, 10x, 20x, 30x..etc.

  • Meditation:
This is an intense form of energy training (regular training) done without items (with the exception of a gravitron if you have one) but only by races that have ki or spr or both as energy sources, if you do not have either one you can not meditate. And for the record you are allowed to do meditation and fight in the same day, but you can not spar and meditate the same day because they are both 2 forms of regular training.

By harnessing the power of mind, body, and soul you can naturally increase you own ki and/or spr levels. When you decide to meditate, remember you can not do any other type of training that day. The stat gains for this ancient art is as follows:

    0x - 100x gravity you will gain 3000ki and 1500spr each day
    110x - 200x you will gain 6000ki and 2500 spr each day
    210x - 300x you will gain 9000ki and 4500 spr each day
    310x - 400x you will gain 9000ki and 6500spr each day
    410x - 500x you will gain 12,000ki and 7500spr each day
    510x - 600x you will gain 15,000ki and 8500spr each day
    610x - 700x you will gain 20,000ki and 10,000spr each day
700x + you will gain 30,000ki and 15,000spr each day

  • Sparring (Squads and Creatures Only):
Sparring is form of regular training, it simulates battle conditions with a squadmate. Each person you spar with will give you 1/2 your win stats minus any energy gains and cash. Also for each person you spar with in your squad you will earn 500sk. This can be done 1x a day. You can also spar with a creature, and this will give you only 2000pl, but will give the creature 1/2 it's win stat minus any ki, or spr (creatures don't earn cash), but creatures can not do training with items the day you spar with them...same rule for you. You can not spar more than 1 time a day since it is regular training and never more than 1 type of training a day. Also be aware if you spar with your squadmates none of them can do any other type of training that day so make sure you talk to them before you post that you are sparring.

  • Special Training:
Special training lasts all day, and when done you can not fight, or travel that day and you can not add any stat gains until the day after the training ends. All special training must be approved before you can do it (except free rides, they do not need to be approved). All special training lasts the whole day, and just like kai prime an ajen, you can not fight that day while doing special training. The max number of special training sessions in 1 week is 3 (to keep people from being "Onslaught"). If you qualify, and decide you wish to have special training, first you must request it from the master of the world, or guardian of the room, etc. You must be on that planet to request the training unless prohibited because a raider owns the planet. Planets like yardrat have moves that can be learned by doing regular training while there however you will need to have the requirements of the move to even train for it. Then while there you can not do regular training while doing special training (it's one or the other). Pay special attention to the planet requirements, you may need a certain inv to land or survive there. Training will take as long as stated on the starmap or stated by the guardian of that world or room....etc. Some places like the room of spirit and time takes a certain number of battles as well as other stipulations to get the training. For the other special training you might need to prove worthy, or just be really lucky, most planet masters can deny you training..so be aware, check the starmap for more info. Also only 1 session of special training can be had a day.....3 a week.......period.......with the exception of dead training, and move training!

  • Planet Conquering and (War Planets):
Some changes for this in the new era. Teams may fight together to claim a war planet(to gain control of it), but can not help to defend it once it is conquered. Squads can not fight together to claim a planet but can fight together to defend it (to keep control of the planet). Once the fight is over only 1 person may claim ownership of that planet. No one can conquer/own more than 3 war planets. When you conquer a world you can not be challenged for it until after your first update from what you conquered. Each week 1 planet conquered will give you $30,000. You can not refuse the challenge from anyone who lands on it that is not part of your team or squad. You can not lose the planet in battle if the challenger is not actually on the planet. However if a challenger lands on the planet and you are not there you will have to battle for control of the planet. If the challenger has challenged you and they are on your planet you have 1 day to fight them, if you fail to do so you forfeit the planet! No world can be claimed without defeating it's guardian or current owner unless it is a forfiet situation. If you land on a world that is not owned by anyone and a champion does not respond in 5 days time, then you may claim that world as your own! See no shows for more info on war planet champion no shows! Also the inhabitants do not just go away, they may challenge you every other day to dethrone you, if they defeat you after you have already conquered it, they get a week's rest from you before you can challenge them again, if you lose 2x to them, you must then leave the planet for 30 days.

Many planets can be conquered when doing the empire quests. When doing the handiwork of the krell, saiyin, chill, esperian empires, etc., you must conquer the planets they desire to have (doing so will have serious results in the item shops and/or your pockets). There is yet a 5th empire that also requests planets the long forgotten Vuls. From time to time the ask for planets to be destroyed or conquered and post a reward for doing so. Once the planets have been conquered for these empires you may not be able to return to them!

  • Raiders:
Raiders can conquer any planet except dr'ell, ajen, kai prime, hel, or any planet with dballs on them and they also can not conquer planets in the omega galaxy. If a raider conquers a planet and he tells you, that you must go, you have 12 hrs to leave, or you will die automatically. A raider does not have to allow anyone to land on his planet except: when a person has agreed to an empires request, or if another raider has decided to attempt to claim that world as their own. A raider can not conquer any planet he has not actually been to. If a raider has received a challenge for his planet under the rules, he has 3 days to fight for control of the planet or he will forfeit it.

  • Planet Destruction (regular planet busters, Planet's End, Cataclysm and Other Planet Destroying Moves):
Planets in the western galaxy can be destroyed with regular planet busters (planet destroyers on the race move pages). If you die on a war planet that is blown up from a planet buster, you will get the stats for a defeat, with no loss on the record, but you will be dead for 30 days, and you will not return until the planet does (if you get special dead training, the gaurdian of that realm may decide you can stay for 30 days or kick you out after 14 days, in which case you have to pick another dead realm to train in). And yes if you get blown up by a planet buster when you come back you have the same number of losses to go before you die from too many losses.

The second type of planetary destruction is by the FOL fear factor called Planet's End. This move will blow many planets but not all (check the arts of war section and look up planet's end). When planet's end is used you are given 24 hrs notice to leave the planet. if you chose to, you can battle the person who wishes to destroy the planet. If you win that person can't blow it up, and they must leave the planet and not return for 30 days. If you lose you will be stuck on the planet unable to leave by tport or ship and you will die when the planet gets destroyed. Finally, you must leave the planet completey in order to survive before planet's end is done. If you are stupid enough to ignore this warning that is on you!!!!

The third type of planetary destruction is new to dbt it is called cataclysm. It is the signature move of buus. This will destroy any planet, even ones with dballs on them, it will destroy hel, ajen, kai prime and realms of the dead. No planet is unkillable when this move is used. When this is done you get 8 hrs notice, and you can leave or stay and fight, if you win the planet lives, if you lose you and the planet die and you spend 30 days in a dead realm. Now if the buu chooses to hunt you down in a dead realm and blow that to oblivion than you will be oblierated and exist in a state on nonthingness at the source of all creation where you will wait to come back into existence, the amount of time you will need to wait is always in a state of change due to cosmic forces you can not comprehend. The time will be posted if this situation happens.

Other moves of note, the vul move "the blade of the wicked", destroys any planet that the move is done on in battle, it is not a non battle type planet destroyer. The rapture move Omega Demon (DF), is alot like cataclysm, only needs 8 hrs notice to destroy any planet in the living realm as a non battle use of the move and also like the "blade of the wicked", will destroy any planet it is done on in battle. Feel free to check the move descriptions for more info.

There may be other moves not listed here, due to the fact i cant possibly remember them all, when a situation comes up that i need to make a note of it here i will do so at that time

  • Ship Control and Flight:
Only the owner of a ship, can send it somewhere. There is no such thing as staying above a planet in a ship anymore. You are either in flight, or when you flight is over, your ship will land on that destination planet. I will say this again, whenever you arrive at a planet, you will be considered to have landed on the planet, immediately.

  • Death and Regular Dead Training and King Emma:
When you get 40 losses you die. When you die you can not buy items from the item shops, or edit moves. Once you die take the main path down snakeway until i you reach King Emma. You do not have control over where you end up in the dead realms, King Emma will decide your fate. If he feels you have proved yourself good or bad, he may allow you access to a secret series of paths that will take you to the Kais or even...Heaven's Arena or Hell's Arena instead of 14 days of heaven, hell, or next dimension, etc. Once you are in on of the arenas you can battle good or bad warriors who have also died, you can even battle teammates or squadmates here. But remember King Emma will tell you where you go, try not to beg hunh!

    Realms of the dead:

heaven(good only)5500 on all stats each day.

next dimension(everyone)3500 on all stats each day.

hell of the damned(evil only)3800 on all stats each day.
    Training lasts for 14 days

  • Special Dead Training and King Emma:
In the past there has been great confusion of exactly who gets to go where and why, mostly due to some people who feel cheated that they were not allowed to go places and some who didnt quit measure up to "their" stats/status did, and so i am making this blunt. Luck and the mood of Emma.

When you die you go to Emma's Planet where you will see king emma and he will decide your fate. You do not get to pick where you go, and you do not ask how you can see someone else. Emma alone will decide for you. Depending on you stats, personality, quests you have done, and his mood at the moment, he will pick one of many places for you to go. Aldo do not be stupid and try to get yourself killed because you will get the worse possible training, and it probably will be a cold day in hell before you get something good after pulling a punk azz stunt like that. If you whine, cry, moan, and basically act like a child, we have a special place just for you called Zero's House, you spend 14 days here doing nothing, no stats, nada, zip! There is no possibility of getting out earlier, no force in the universe can help you, if you end up there 5 times you will die permanent death from the site!

  • Heaven's Arena and Hell's Arena:
When you die and if you prove yourself to be a true warrior, emma may elect to send you to one of the 2 arenas in the dead realm. There you may face off against any foes, or friends in actual combat 2 or 3 times a day. When in one of the arenas you are allowed to actually fight anyone, even teammates or squadmates. You can not fight more than 5 different people a day and never more than 3 times against the same person in a day. It should be noted that only good people go to heaven's arena and evil to hell's arena. You do not earn cash or wins and losses on the record in the arenas. Keep in mind emma decides who will go there. You can not be sent there if there is no one to fight, if you get there and there is no one there to fight (due to some action like dball wish, quitting, etc.), emma may send you somewhere else in the dead realms to spend the time your would normally be dead from battle.

  • Battle:
Before battle begins refs will take stats, and ask you what items you are using. The max number of beans you can use in battle 6 beans total (but no more than 3 of any kind of bean), 2 creatures, 1 weapon, 1 armor, 1 right/left glove, 1 scouter...etc, if you are not sure ask the ref. The fighting system is set up in turns with the fastest person going first, then the second fastest..and so on. Refs will go through the entire process of taking moves, then will calculate to see who got hit and how much damage if any..outcome is affected by the moves done, and items worn..etc. All battles will take place in the arena of the ref, that is reffing the fight, unless stated otherwise. You must be aware that certain moves will overpower others, you will quickly learn which ones through combat..i will not spell it out for you. Now when your hp reaches zero if you don't have something to restore your hp then the battle is over and you lose. You should look to the cheat sheet to see the total gain for your race and gender (all the math has already been done)! You can never fight the same person more than 1 time per day! You can never fight more than 5 people unless you are fighting a squad, then you can fight up to 7 squadmembers (members of the the same squad)! As of 3/7/04 it is now legal to fight members of your team/squad like regular members. This is legal now because the toughest opponent will be the ones that know you best, your team/squad, let the mayhem commence!
    Cheat Sheet

  • Creatures:
Creatures can be trained by sparring with their owner. This can be done 1x per day and all creatures will gain the stats for a win each time they spar with their owner. When used in battle they will gain win/loss stats only if they face another creature (either 1 on 1...or if someone happens to bring a creature into battle). When you take your creature to railworld, creatures will get twice the win/loss stats per opponent faced. Remember, if in battle your creature does not face another creature or face someone with the capabilty of pulling one out, they will gain no stats...AND THAT IS FINAL!!!!

  • Status:
Status attacks are the moves that change the condition of your stats, some change your stats (self status), some your enemy(s) (attacking status and attacking status blasts/combo)...and lastly my favorite, the ones that break the rules (supreme/special self/attacking). In general, there are no double self or attacking statuses allowed, and no double special self/attacking statuses allowed, but you can do a special self and a self status or an attacking status and a special attacking status. Make sure to read the move tag before using it, if it has no tag then don't consider it a status type.....same with items if it has any. Status attacks are immediate. However when you attack someone with a status move you are not always guaranteed to score with it, because inv plays a role in the defense from status, you will quickly learn what moves will work for you in different situations. Be aware that Final Arts can not be statused! When you status someone you can not transform or power up in anyway...period!!!!!!!! Status attacks will not land eve if they are wide range statuses on someone who is in hypercombat mode!!!!!

  • Teams, Squads, Units, and Alliances:
Teams - are a collection of 4 people that can share all items (unless the item says otherwise), travel on the same ship, teams can also fight to gain ownership of a war planet...but only 1 on that team may claim ownership. Teammates can also teleport anywhere a current teammate is due to the fact the energy signature of a teammate is fimiliar unless it is a dragonball planet or some other planet you are not allowed to teleport to. Teams also qualify for team quests. Teams also can switch off in battle, meaning when one person is losing he may opt to switch out with one of his teammates and the teammate called into battle will continue right there where he left off, leaving the opponent no time to heal stats or rest. Only the teammate in battle at the moment the battle ends will get the win/loss on the record and the stats as well, but for each fight you switch out and end up being the one that wins it, will earn 1000rpp on top of the regular win loss stats. Teams can also combine into units for the team quests.

Squads: Squads are a collection of warriors up to 7 total that can fight together to defend war planets already conquered by members of that squad. Squads can also spar with each other. Squads also have a seperate record they must keep track off and that is called the Squad Battle Record, this is just the total combined wins and losses and kills during the era. The number continues to change since there are so many members doing their own thing daily. This record will qualify or eliminate them from squad quests. Squads can also mix and match up with another squad to form alliances.

    Units:
Units are 2 teams the mix and match and join together to form a force capable of defending the empires or planets owned by one of the members in the unit and to protect or conquer the universe. Units earn 1000inv a day no matter what. The number of members in a unit can not exceed 5.

    Alliances:
Alliances are 2 squads that mix and match in order to form a partnership. The purpose of this is to map out how the universe will be conquered and to defend the planets owned by members in the alliance. Members of alliances can decide against ruining empire plans of other members in the alliance if this is the case there is no need to conquer any planet owned by a member in the alliance to conquer an entire galaxy. Alliances gain 1000sk a day no matter what. Maximum number of members in an alliance is 5.

  • Tournaments:
Tournaments will probably happen once a month or once every 2 months, and DBT has a variety of ways to beat the crap out of each other:
    Elimination Wars
    Free For All
    Team Tournies
    Squad Tournies
    12 Man Death Match
    Special Training Tourny
    Godhood Tourny
    Demonlord Tourny
    DBZ/DBGT Tourny
Each has different rules and pros and cons. When it is time for there to be a tourny, all important info will be posted on that board...(tourny info board)!

  • Teleportation:
After you gain teleportation you can teleport to any planet you have previously been to (except Dr'ell, Hel, Ajen, Kai Prime, platinum/darkstar dragonball planets, or realms of the dead). You can also teleport yourself, and your ship, and everyone and everything inside it by merely touching what you are teleporting (cool hunh). Also when you teleport you do not need to rest a day before starting a quest. You can only teleport to one place a day. You can not land on any planet that has a higher gravity than you are used to unless the planet does not have an inv requirement and you have a training dome! You can also teleport to any location that a squadmate or teammate is currently at due to the fimiliar energy signature (except planets and locations that do not allow for anyone to teleport to them, places like darkstar/platinum/omega dball planets......etc.). So please read the starmap and make sure before you teleport...take the time to make sure you can teleport, i dont want to hear any crying about how it is unfair and the rules say this.....but i can't do that....you are being warned now!!!!!!.

  • Buus, Ultimate Teleportation and Spectral Tport:

  • Questing:
When attempting a quest make sure you have the required items for it (dballs etc.), and that you meet the planetary requirements or any other special conditions for it (some planets you go to require high inv to survive). Once you begin a quest, you can not do any fighting...unless it is part of the quest, until your quest ends. If you stop your quest before you finish you will have to wait 1 week before you try that quest again. You can only quest for 1 type of dballs until you have all 7 of them and make your wish, so no going for platinum and before you collect them all, then going for dark star before you finsh getting all the platinum dballs. Be aware that all special training, and all dball quests have guardians or masters of the planets, etc. Wishes can be shared with teammates and squadmates....the only wish that you can do for someone not on your team is to bring them back to life...can you imagine stopping someone's special training...evil hunh?!. Only the planets with single stats increases have no guardian so simply put up your training on that world on the training board.

  • Spurs:
Spurs are the insane fighting that happens everyday. You do not need to schedule a fight, but you can, all you need is someone to fight and a willing ref. Respect his answer. If you can not get a ref for some reason don't complain, that is why the spurs will always be here!. Due to people abusing the old rule, if you leave in the middle of a fight you have 5 minutes to return or you will get 2 losses on your record with no stat gains and you will lose rpp for that day, and if you continue to do it, you will lose all rpp for the week or your total amount, the one who stays gets stats for a loss but no record change...be aware running from battle will earn you low level training when you are dead. If the ref should leave in the middle of the fight, then he gets to decide if you get a win or a loss for his leaving!!!!

  • Buying and Selling:
You can not buy and sell while in flight, unless you buy the items transporter. The special item shops like toa - x, saiyin empire, kold empire, capsule corp. shop, has restrictions. Saiyin Empire Shops, you must be on one of the worlds that are in the new saiyin empire (and only saiyins and human/saiyins can buy from them), same deal with kold empire shops. Toa - X only make android items, and capsule corp. only sells to those with good hearts (good scum). When buying, make sure you give your money total to start with, then what your buying, it's price, and how much you have left after the purchase. Items sold to the items shops sell for half price. Items in the rpp shop have certain restrictions on them for auctioning and trading in armors so please view the rpp shop page.

  • Empire Shops:
There are special shops that sell items that can not be purchased in flight with the item transporter. Those shops are called empire shops. Those shops are........Toa - X Shop (only androids can buy from this shop, and they must be on Toa - X).........Saiyin Empire Shop (only saiyins and human/saiyins can buy from this shop, and they must be on a planet currently in that empire)................Capsule Corp. Shop (only good hearted people can buy from this shop, and they must be on Earth).

  • No Shows:
If you are to fight someone and they are a no show and the ref is there, after 10 minutes you are the winner by default, and you will get the stats for a win including one on your record. If you are the one who was a no show you get 1 loss on your record and that is it, you get no stat increases. If a ref is a no show after 10 minutes all parties get the win or wins as the case may be (but i will be looking for a ref to acknowledge this so do not try to cheat). If you schedule a battle with a guardian of a dball or master of a planet, or a war planet champion, and they have accepted your challenge, and are a no show then you get 5,000 on each stat and you must wait for a new day and/or time to be picked for the next fight.

  • Travel / Travel Time:
You can only travel to one place a day...for example if you go to earth in a ship and land, that same day you can not go to a different location...by means of teleportation, or dball wishing....whatever..1 place a day..period. Time it takes to get to a planet is given in the spaceship shop (this does not count use of extra thrusters). If you change your mind in mid-flight then you are automatically back in the nzone..got it. Make sure you read the ship control and flight section (you are either in flight or on the planet). Also you can not land on any planet that has a higher gravity than you are used to unless the planet does not have an inv requirement and you have a training dome/chamber!....When doing special training you can not leave that planet the same day you are doing your special training!!!!

  • Godhood:
If and when you become a god, you can only use the transformations from the god tansformations list. Godhood can be taken away from you for violating site rules purposely or often by DF (if this happens there will be a post made by me or someone i tell to post for me since i am very busy)!

  • Draws:
Due to the overwhelming cheapness of the site, draws will forever be counted as losses in stats and records. Draws will only happen when the refs says a fight is a draw. This is as of 3/13/04!!!

  • Move Selection and Use:
All moves and transformations must be selected in order to be used (except general moves, race abilities, race benefits and twighlight attacks). When you want to learn and select most moves, you need the all of the requirements to select them. Be aware some moves become unusable if your stats should fall below a certain point in battle, and all moves and transformations become unusable should your stats fall below the requirements before you get the chance to use them. Make sure to check the page the moves are on for more info.

When you select a transformation you need all the requirements to select it..and energy sources do burn when you transform (some races don't burn energy so read to find out which ones), the only stat that does not decrease when doing moves is skill. Some races have a transformation that will actually give them energy source when they trans, but most do not, so train well, or die ugly.

You are only allowed a certain amount of moves total unless you purchase a memory expander, warlord, etc and if your pl ever goes below the required level for a move, you can not perform it. And obviously without energy or sufficient pl you will be unable to transform.

  • Transformations:
The first 2 transformations on a race's list last indefintely, all other transes last for 10 turns unless stated otherwise with the exception of custom transes they do not expire. Once a trans expires or is disabled you may not attempt to transform again for 5 turns. Be aware there are some moves that can knock you out of your trans. Keep in mind that ki can be used to extend transformation time but only on the last turn before the transformation is to expire. People who have gone on to claim godhood and eldergodhood can not select their base race transformation, they must use god/egod transes. Demonlords can use either demon or demonlord transes. Keep in mind the changes to this era's rules, if at any time BEFORE you transform and your stats are lowered, if you do not meet the requirements for the transformation, you will not be able to transform. In previous eras this was not the case, but from now on, you must meet all the requirements for all moves and transformations before you can select or perform them. Once transformed however you will never have you transformation end due to loss of stats!!!!!!!

  • Moves That Track:
When you use a move that tracks or such a move is done against you.....any move done has to hit the move that tracks or that move will immediately score. An example would be if a move that tracks me was done, i do kamehameha but don't say to the move that tracks, that move will still impact me. Unless you do a wide area status attack that, or overpower the move that tracks you will be damaged....period. Do not ignore those moves because they might not have status, some take a certain amount of turns to impact, some will impact the second you don't overpower them...so be aware!.

  • Field Effects:
These are moves that cause damage when done and stay out there inflicting more damage on turns beyond the first turn. These moves can not be statused, and can be overpowered, but they can not be evaded by anything other than teleportation, or Hyper Speed Combat.

As stated on the comments board by me:
**********THE LAST WORD ON FIELD EFFECTS**********
Posted on February 16, 2003 at 08:33:01 PM by DF

1)when someone does one on you, you can not retaliate with a status move, since you can not status an incoming field effect, however the person who did the effect on you CAN status you while it is active.

2)you can do a field effect against a field effect, when you do this no one can status you until the effect is gone (the one you did)

3)if someone does a field effect on you and you die, the effect ends instantly.

4)field effects can be overpowered with any kind of high damage attack if you have the stats to do it, no they can not be evaded unless you use HSC, or tport, but if the field effect is a status field effect, obviously you can not evade it.

5)final arts maybe some of the most powerful moves on the game but in the words of ZT, status is status, so no, you can not penetrate a field effect with a status final art when countering, but remember, if someone does the effect on you, they can blast you to hell with a status final art. So the trick is to overpower the effect as soon as you see it.

6)you must overpower the effect or defend from it with barrier, u fury...etc

7)****can not redirect a field effect*******, but some moves allow you to transmit the damage back to the enemy, like the final art forbidden retribution and there is at least one more, i just cant think of it now

8)you can not do 2 field effects at the same time, attempting to do so, will cancel your current field effect (so no, onslaught can not do eclipse first turn, eclipse 2nd turn...just an ex. not saying he did)

9)in fact no one can be hit with 2 field effects at once, if you are fight 5 people, and 1 person does one, your opp must wait for the current effect to end before one of them can do a field effect on you

10)same goes for you, can not have a double field effect at the same time, but again you can do one on your opp's and they can do one on you...got that

11)1 LAST TIME, YOU CAN NOT FORCE THROUGH A FIELD EFFECT IN A COUNTER POSITION WITH ANY STATUS MOVE!!!!!!

12)field effects can not be captured or redirected (4/21/04)

13)any field effect that has an attacking status tag of any kind is only a status type move on the initial turn, after that the field effect will be treated as if it was a regular field effect(5/3/04)

  • Move Training:
When you decide you wish to move train you need to go to Dr'ell to do it (Hel for demons and demon'gods). In order to move train and go up a level you must train on the surface of dr'ell for 14 days straight. While training a move you post the messages on the training board each day, but you do not gain any stats. You must also have the lv1 version of the move selected to move train (after you gain the next level up version you do not need to select it seperately, it is all the same move, just make a note on the move selection board that you have the lv1, and lv2, or lv3, or lv4, lv5 or lv6 version of the move....so yes if you have all the versions of the move it only counts a 1 of your special 25). When in battle because of the special nature of these moves, it will take the level number x the original pl and ki and/or spr level to pull off...example lv6 move requires 6x lv1 requirements.

  • Signature Moves:
Signature moves are powerful race moves that by far out perform the standard race moves. They range from level 1 - level X. When you begin to select your moves you can not select more than 4 signature moves. But as you grow more powerful and gain wins, and skill you will get to select more.....much more! The way you decide what you can pick is simple really. We have a signature move point system....no not another stat, just a guide to help you understand how this will work. Initially you have 10 points for signature move selection. Each signature move has a level, for ex. the shadow move Ultimate Rush is a level 1 signature move so it counts as 2 signature move pts....and the points a move calls for is simply level # x 2. So i could take 4 level 1 signature moves, or a level 1, and level 2. However their are some limitations on your selection, since some signature moves prohibit you from selecting certain moves, you won't be able to pick every move you might like to. You will never be able to have more than 10 signature moves (if there is any race that has 10, but you know i could always add more through the era so i am saying this now). For each 1,000,000sk you have you will gain 1 extra sig pt. So, if you have 1,000,001 sk you have 11 sig pts. You dont need to keep track on your member info because my staff can count and if your dont have the skill for the number and level of sig moves you have, we are going to hurt your sk level (so be warned now). Keep in mind your signature move is your statement, your legend, the higher the level, the more devestating you will be, some races do not have all the levels of signature moves, that is by design, every race has it's strenghts and weaknesses so don't cry to me how i need to add extra sig moves because i am telling you why now. That being said i am also telling you i reserve the right to change my mind and add some if i choose to. So don't cry when i do. Last thing on the signature moves, you still can not select them if you can not meet the requirements reguardless of how many pts you have for them.

  • Holds:
Holds are moves that cause great damage and in many cases death unless the victim can break free using psi or some move that breaks/destroys holds. When performed in a combo the moment you perform the hold your turn is complete and can no longeer chain moves together!

  • Twighlight Attacks:

  • Buus and General Mayhem:

  • Ship To Ship Warfare:

  • Exploration of Planets:
Sometimes when looking at the starmap you may notice some planets have (unknown)...next to their names. It also may say in the description, that no information is available, or needs to be explored, or may indicate something may be there. These planets that say this can be explored and you will earn cash, or rpp or credits or all 3 or some combination of the 3. When you explore it is NOT considered training or questing. All you can do when exploring is fights. Exploration takes time, sometimes weeks, but the info you find could be invaluable down the line. Time needed to complete an exploration varies from planet to planet, galaxy to galaxy. When doing this, each day you post on the request board that you are exploring "name here" planet. When you have explored long enough i will respond with what you found if anything and your reward. Items if any, that are found this way are not...NOT artifacts and can only be used by YOU.

  • Majin and Kaiohshin PowerUps/Training:
When you go to Babadi's or Kaioshin's planet you can only do one thing at a time. Once you have done that one thing you must leave the planet..as in nzone or some other destination (if you are on a team then you have to wait on a ship while your team finishes what they are doing, because you can't stay on the surface after your done training) for 30 days minimum or until the very least you get approval from Babadi or Kaioshin. Also when you go to those planets you are cut off from the outside world..you can not do regular battles while you are there, you can not start then stop...all training is to be consecutive..if you break routine you can be expelled from the planet. Stat gains can not be added until the day after the waiting time ends.

  • Majin Buu (the destroyer of gods):
This section is not regular members who gain majin bull like stats...this is for the real deal, the one sealed away in a cave on the earth. Majin Buu. When this creature is unleashed he has the power to blow up any world, he can teleport to the realms of the dead and blow them up too. He has all the moves on the buu list and some not on the list. His actions will have a huge effect on the site. If he lands on a planet that you are on..no matter what you are doing you must either stop and fight him or flee! Should anyone defeat Majin Buu they get 1,000,000 on all stats for the win and $500,000. He has no favorites and is totally unbiased. He will usually target the strong first, but that is not a given. Pay special attention to the site news, questions, comments, complaints board to keep an eye on his actions. This creature travels by teleport only so there is no need to check any other board. Well....that's all for now and good luck to us all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Time Crystals:
These little gems are really handy, and they allow for certain things to be done. It is explained completely in the rare items shop but i wanted to point out one fact. When using this crystal to make up training, you can only make up regular training (with planet gains if any), but it must be CONSECUTIVE DAYS....ex. you take off 3 months from dbt, come back 2 days and do some special training quest, or artifact hunt, then go out again for 2 days, then return and think you can make up the 3 months prior and the 2 days....this is not possible, once you interrupt your streak of days not trained with a quest you can no longer make up those days!!!!!

  • RPP Manual:
RPP MANUAL FOR DBT AS OF 5/04/04

1,000rpp per day trained (this is for regular or special training done per day)

10,000rpp per special training (this is per session of special training you do)
